A close-up of a cat claw which illustrates how the claw is protractible (i.e., normally is retracted but can be exposed by pushing it out) and the location of the quick (the nerve) within the claw.

  • Support I'm not a huge fan of cats. This is because most cat owners are irresponsible and let them out nightly to kill native wildlife. It isn't a problem in the city. I don't mind the animals themselves though. Noodle snacks (talk) 08:48, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
