User:John Cummings, Wikipedian in Residence at UNESCO, organized the event. User:Bluerasberry presented presenting Wikimedia New York City, the local Wikimedia chapter. User:AbhiSuryawanshi presented on behalf of Wikipedia contributors in India.
The presentation offered options for institutional collaboration between organizations and Wikimedia projects. Staff at UNDPI asked about uploading media to Wikimedia projects, developing Wikipedia articles, and what precedents exists at UN agencies or other organizations for collaboration with Wikimedia projects.
Wikipedians invited staff at UNDPI to to attend upcoming Wikipedia events in New York City and Delhi.
