In general, try to start new articles with at least two or three paragraphs, or at least five sentences of main text, and put the article in at least one Category. If you are not familiar with the many Scotland-related categories, place the new article in Category:Scotland or Category:Scottish people, so that other Users can re-allocate it to appropriate sub-categories.
