This page has been up for years following the successful album releases, reviews, concerts etc of the production band internationally

PIVX

I feel this page should be available as a for people curious about PIVX. As pages dedicated to PIVX's competition are allowed to remain up, I feel it only fair, as I strongly believe Wikipedia should remain impartial. The PIVX page was previously deleted as it was not properly cited, nor were concerns towards this properly addressed. The original was not my article; I simply wish to act on behalf of PIVX by updating previous information to be up-to-date, impartial, factual, and properly cited as per Wikipedia's reliable sources guidelines. This page is encyclopedic because it displays information on the album, just like the others in the series. It's not right for all the other albums to be on Wikipedia but not this one, as they are all as encyclopedic as each other.

If you want to change anything you will have to talk to user talk:Primefac who protected it. But Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Now That's What I Call Music! 51 (UK series) decided on a redirect, so do not expect any change soon. WP:DRV is the place for arguing against an AFD result. This template was deleted and I wanted to make something similar. The focus of Wikipedia: WikiProject Portals has changed. Now we want to make Portals with as few subpages as possible. The best approach is without any subpages. I think this template would be a great advantage for building Portals without subpages. I have been in contact with Wikipedia editors regarding this page, and have rewritten it several times to assure my sources are used properly. Recently someone removed Charles E. Winquist's 1986 photograph. It was referenced in the first citation as requested by Pamela Nett Kruger, California State University, Chico, Special Collections & University Archives. I have included the original email. I would like this photo reinstated. If this is not possible, I will start another search. Thank you.

The problem is that the photo doesn't have any indication that it is public domain, the letter you quoted above doesn't say it's public domain, and the photo has never been released to the Wikimedia Foundation under an acceptable free license. The copyright holder must send communication to the Wikimedia Foundation releasing the image for publication. The communication must be from someone identifiably the copyright holder or a representative, not some random Wikipedia account posting a letter on this page. Note that even if you have permission, you are not republishing the photo, the Wikimedia Foundation is, and the Foundation has not received permission, and you are not authorized to give it because you aren't the copyright holder. The petitioner has been blocked (by me) as an undisclosed paid editor. However.... upon closer examination, Passion (Steve Laury album) contains an unsourced claim of charting in Billboard, which, if true, would qualify for inclusion under WP:MUSICBIO #2. Even if not true, he has multiple albums released under the Denon Records label, which would qualify for inclusion under criterion #5. These were listed in the deleted article.
