Stonewall Jackson Monument[edit]

I've listed this article for peer review because I want suggestions on grammar and whether it would be necessary to add a section on his military achievements, specially relating to the civil war which created his name 'stonewall' and his legacy

@Sholtz49: Looked through the article I have a couple of general, structural comments:
  • The lead of the article seems rather long, compared to the rest of the article. Could some of the text in the lead by moved down into a section about Jackson's history or other similar statues, to keep the lead focused on the statue itself?
  • There is what looks like a broken footnote after "during the early stages of the Civil War."
  • Overall, the paragraphs in the article seem over-long. If they could be broken down into paragraphs of around ~4–5 sentences, that would improve readability.
  • The Controversy section of the article seems like it needs some wiki links or Template:See also's to connect it to larger articles about the BLM/George Floyd protests and the history of Confederate statues. —Wingedserif (talk) 17:14, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
