I want to nominate this to be a FL, but I've never done a FL before.

Hi Tkbrett, some comments, hope they're helpful.

First paragraph: use of "it" twice in one sentence.; avoid using the word altogether. Newspapers don't "reside in" they are "published in". The first paragraph implies that the population centres of German migration were not in Toronto - is it necessary to structure the paragraph this way, starting in the negative? Something along the lines of: "19th Century German migration to Central Canada was concentrated in the towns of Berlin and Waterloo with the vast majority of newspapers established there to service the population." Would be good to include in the first paragraph the total number of newspapers included here (eg more than 30 over the last 150 (?) years).
Implemented these.
Footnote [a]: Perhaps consider starting by using the term lower central Canada rather than having a footnote here so early in the article.
I think Upper Canada would perhaps be better so as not to confuse with Lower Canada.
Second paragrpah: Any sourcing to indicate why so many failed so quickly? (I'm guessing population movements, integration??)
According to Kalbfleisch, it was mostly because they were reliant upon a tiny population of readers.
Third paragraph: "Amidst the First World War" ... "Amidst" seems misused here, 28 Sept 1918 is barely 6 weeks before the end of the war. "Since the government repealed the ban..." -> "Although the order was repealed in January 1920, not until 1967 did a German-language newspaper reappear; Kitchener's Kitchener Journal, which ceased publication in 1969." Seems the order was somewhat unnecessary given popular sentiment had probably already made anti-German sentiment rife eg Berlin to Kitchener name change.
The timing of the order was indeed quite strange. I didn't include much info regarding it on the Berlin to Kitchener name change page; instead you'll find information regarding it at Berliner Journal#German publication ban. I've gone ahead and piped "passed an Order in Council" to that section.
(add) Fourth papagraph: Toronto's das journal, first published in 2011, is presently Ontario's only German-language newspaper.

There's no sense of the content of the papers at all - this is of course a list, but even a few words regarding some of the papers might be added.
I was toying with the idea of including a column regarding whether each newspaper was a daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly publication. What else could I include? Perhaps political lean?
Consider adding a column with English translations of the titles of the papers.
My sources don't generally provide English translations of the titles. Is it appropriate to use Google Translate for this?

Tkbrett some quick responses: most of the titles are fairly easy, but one should not rely on machine translation. Perhaps other editors will have a view on whether this information should be added. Adding a column on period of publication is useful and if you have sourced information on the political inclinations of the papers I think that would be good. Tkbrett Good additions. The images of the front pages are excellent, they dramatically improve the "feel". I would suggest renaming the column "Political orientation" rather than "Political lean". I would add an * after orientation and at the bottom of the table add a small note to the effect: "a dash indicates no sourcing available as to political orientation." thanks Goldsztajn. I added a key with an em dash signifying unknown info. I agree orientation is better wording. I'm still toying with the formatting of the images; it looks fine on my computer, but on an iPad all the images appear above the table, rather than alongside it. Tkbrett - I've moved one of the images into the table; have a look. Another option would be to create a separate column for the images (which is certainly common in many lists).
