We’ll have experienced Wikipedians who can help you start editing. You just need an internet connection,a computer or tablet and some curiosity. You must register for JMM 2022 to participate in this event. You will receive Zoom links shortly before the event if you are registered.

What to expect[edit]

This is a gathering for anyone, from seasoned contributors to people who are wanting to know more. Anyone can contribute. No Wikipedia editing experience necessary; as needed throughout the event, tutoring and a link to a handout will be provided for Wikipedia newcomers. If you are unfamiliar with Wikipedia, you can get a head start with this this training module. We will also have a brief presentation at the start of the event. We encourage you to create a Wikipedia Username before the event; see the link below in Resources:Getting Started.
