Summary[edit]
The Wikipedia Ho Chi Minh City meetup is a monthly meeting of Wikipedians (contributors and users) and members of the general public who are curious to learn more about Wikipedia and its sister-projects. We will discuss Wikipedia and share our ideas and experiences around it. Our long-term goals are outreach for Wikipedia and its sister projects.

Intended Audience[edit]
Anyone who is interested in Wikipedia – for example, a user, a contributor or simply anyone who is curious about it – is welcome to attend. Wikipedians from any part of Viet Nam or the world and anyone who wishes to contribute to Wikipedia and its sister projects can participate. The meetup is open to members of all Wikimedia projects and Wikimedians speaking any languages. All are welcome and we are specially interested in seeing newcomers joining the experienced Wikipedians. If you are interested in coming, please add your name below to the list.

Post-meetup summary/Blogs/News[edit]
The meetup was announced last week and approximately 24 individuals signed up on our Facebook event page. On the day of the event six guests turned up, all of them uninitiated or new users to Wikipedia. My talk focused on introducing them to Wikis, Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects.
