Original – Hjalmar J. Procopé, Finland's ambassador to the United States, in Washington D.C. at the end of the Finnish Winter War in 1940. Prior to his career as ambassador, Procopé served as minister on several occasions: Minister of Trade and Industry (1920-1921, 1924) and Minister of Foreign Affairs (1924-1925, 1927-1931).
Reason
A very high quality portrait of a notable Finnish politician and diplomat.
