  Thanks, Chris. Looks good to me. Apart from cropping the frame and cleaning up the most obvious blemishes, I didn't tinker with it much, partly because I don't have a lot of spare time for Wikipedia-related tasks, and partly because it was already in relatively good shape for a historical photo. But I have no ownership issues and it's fine with me if others want to put more work into it. The real credit goes to Nadar for the photograph itself, to Boston music critic Philip Hale for preserving it, and to the Boston Public Library for making it widely available.
