Edits to Enneagram of Personality

Thanks for alerting me to the need to leave an edit summary. I'm not the least bit edit-savvy or community-savvy, but I hope to improve. I do believe the portion I removed is best removed once again, unless you care to make it more sensible and unbiased. If I recall correctly, I deleted two sentences. The problematic claims, as I see them: 1) There has been limited formal psychometric analysis of the Enneagram. Meaningless claim, as all psychometric analysis is "limited". 2) The peer-reviewed research that has been done is not accepted within the relevant academic communities. Who is "relevant"? The Enneagram has been employed at Harvard and taught formally at Stanford and UCLA among other respected institutions. 3) The Enneagram has been dismissed by personality assessment experts as pseudoscience. This is overwhelming prejudicial language, classifying people who label the Enneagram as pseudoscience "experts", while insinuating that those who endorse the Enneagram are "non-experts". Keeping this portion would, of course, be fine, if someone wants to offer real names rather than the prejudicial claim of "experts". Rickmoede (talk) 22:44, 30 May 2023 (UTC)

@Rickmoede: I have reviewed your edit. I believe that the information you removed should remain included in the article. From what I can see, the content was adequately sourced with references. I might tweak the tone of the article in the future to make it more neutral though. -- Prodraxistalkcontribs 16:32, 2 June 2023 (UTC)
I gave you all the reason needed, and you've offered no intelligent commentary. The fact the a person said a thing once (on a website or in a book) does not make it accurate, intelligent, logical or fair. There is no time like the present to fix a broken wiki, and you need not even participate in this progress. Your obstinance and abuse of power is just another reason to encourage the world to defund Wikipedia. Rickmoede (talk) 23:50, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
@Rickmoede Wikipedia is not for righting great wrongs. -- Prodraxistalkcontribs 23:52, 3 June 2023 (UTC)

Question about a revert

Hi! Could you explain this revert? I followed the link to that Google Books source and can't see where that quote appears. DanCherek (talk) 14:23, 3 June 2023 (UTC)

@DanCherek: Ohh.... I was using Antivandal and I reverted what seemed like unexplained content removal. -- Prodraxistalkcontribs 17:30, 3 June 2023 (UTC)

Can you please update your signature?

It's not clear what your username is, and the final two words link to Special:Contributions/Shadow of the Starlit Sock, which is an error page stating the username is not registered. I think WP:CUSTOMSIG/P applies here. Kindly, Folly Mox (talk) 17:24, 6 June 2023 (UTC)

@Folly Mox: Well, I've recently changed my username from "Shadow of the Starlit Sky" to "Prodraxis", and my alt's username from "Shadow of the Starlit Sock" to "Prodraxisock". I've changed my sig to align with that as well as of right now. This probably happened because you clicked on my old signature before my rename. Just fyi, for future reference, my username is Prodraxis and my alt's username is Prodraxisock. -- Prodraxistalkcontribs 19:56, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
Here's a confirmation from my alt that I've changed my sig to make it comply with policy - in fact, I changed it right after my username change anyways. Prodraxisock (talk) 19:56, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
Ok that's fair. I must have just caught your sig at an inopportune moment. Blessings, Folly Mox (talk) 19:58, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
No problem. -- Prodraxistalkcontribs 19:58, 6 June 2023 (UTC)

Scottywong case opened

You recently offered a statement in a request for arbitration. The Arbitration Committee has accepted that request for arbitration and an arbitration case has been opened at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Scottywong. Evidence that you wish the arbitrators to consider should be added to the evidence subpage, at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Scottywong/Evidence. Please add your evidence by June 21, 2023, which is when the evidence phase closes. You can also contribute to the case workshop subpage, Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Scottywong/Workshop. For a guide to the arbitration process, see Wikipedia:Arbitration/Guide to arbitration. For the Arbitration Committee, –MJLTalk 19:21, 7 June 2023 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Arbitration Committee, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 21:19, 12 June 2023 (UTC)

Sock

See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Kevinionic2. Shouldn't be a surprise. 10mmsocket (talk) 12:33, 15 June 2023 (UTC)

@10mmsocket: Thanks for doing this but I already reported them at WP:Sockpuppet investigations/Lithuaniaball2. Lithuaniaball2 is an LTA who vandalizes car related articles by edit warring with multiple socks and adding loads of unwikified text and redlinks. You can see their LTA page for more info. -- Prodraxistalkcontribs 12:38, 15 June 2023 (UTC)
Noted, thanks. 10mmsocket (talk) 12:39, 15 June 2023 (UTC)
No problem. If you have any questions about their M.O. I am happy to answer them. -- Prodraxistalkcontribs 12:42, 15 June 2023 (UTC)
Thanks. I've seen lots of socks and enjoyed sock-hunting. Will keep an eye out for this one in the future. --10mmsocket (talk) 12:43, 15 June 2023 (UTC)

Hello, Prodraxis,

What were your grounds for tagging this page for deletion? This is not a blocked sockpuppet and there is no evidence that this is an editor evading a ban on the English Wikipedia. It doesn't matter if the editor is blocked on another Wikimedia project, it doesn't affect their status here. If you have grounds to think so, then file an SPI case. But do not tag User pages for deletion until an editor's identity as a sockpuppet is confirmed. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 04:54, 21 June 2023 (UTC)

Study Invite

Hello, thanks for patrolling edits and reverting vandalism! I wonder if you are interested in our ongoing study for recent change patrollers. The study aims to evaluate AI models that power Huggle, SWViewer, and many other anti-vandal tools. Your feedback can be really helpful! If you're interested, please check out our recruitment page for more information. Thank you for your consideration! Tzusheng (talk) 04:00, 28 June 2023 (UTC)

@Tzusheng:, Hello and thanks for fighting vandalism too! I'm sorry to say this, but I likely won't be able to participate in the study. I will be busy at summer camp and my schedule might conflict with the activities. I also need time to study and prepare for the upcoming school year. I would participate if I had the time, but sadly, I cannot. — Prodraxis {talkcontributions} (she/her) 13:16, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
No worries, thanks again for your considerations. Hope you have fun at the summer camp! Tzusheng (talk) 13:20, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
