I've removed the yellow backgrounds you have placed on some entries in List of DirecTV channels; the placement seems arbitrary at best, unless I am missing some commonality. --Mhking 05:15, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a reason for highlighting some channels on List of DirecTV channels in yellow, please let folks know, otherwise, the colors will be reverted. --Mhking 13:52, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please discuss any sort of move of content from List of DirecTV channels on the talk page befor summarily removing it. --Mhking 05:42, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I know some TV listings have WDAZ-DT2 as a CW affiliate, but it is incorrect. I have a digital TV and there isn't a 8-2 (just a 8-1), though WDAY-TV has The CW on digital (6-2). I contacted the station, and they also say it is incorrect.--milk the cows (Talk) 21:06, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Same user?

I have a feeling that Zim2007 (talk · contribs), Thehalo1noob (talk · contribs), and 69.178.194.212 (talk · contribs) may possibly all be the same user. Am I correct? I'm not accusing...just questioning. --MatthewUND(talk) 05:35, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It looks as if these group of usernames are sock puppets, I have noticed that the user(s) in question doesn't reply back to messages. I have also noticed that when an editor sends a warning message to Zim2007/Thehalo1noob/Angrygamer, he/she/they makes another account. These are only my observations.--milk the cows (Talk) 16:14, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
They have to be the same user. The most recent username that they're using is Flnclan (talk · contribs). As long as they stick with this name, stop editing under all of the previous names, and stop editing all of the previous user pages and user talk pages, I'm willing to forget about the past. Still, I'm very concerned about the way this user has been operating so far. --MatthewUND(talk) 01:29, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edits to List of radio stations in North Dakota and ND radio market templates

KFYR only targets programming to the Bismarck, North Dakota, so it's more appropriate to leave it as a Bismarck market station. KFYR (as well as KXMR) has a city grade signal (for a good definition for the term, click here, where it can be applied to radio and TV.) in Minot and Jamestown.

For a good signal map interpretation on whether an out-of-market has a city-grade signal, try searching the station on Radio Locator and any area within or near red line represents city-grade signal coverage. Therefore, according to Arbitron, KFYR and KMXR are also considered Minot market stations, although they both are based in Bismarck.

Since I explained the radio markets a bit, please do not add KFYR to every ND market as you did in List of radio stations in North Dakota and the ND radio market templates.--milk the cows (Talk) 00:07, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The list of businesses which you added to the article has been removed. Such lists should not be added to articles because Wikipedia is not a directory and it is not a travel guide. A tag has been placed on Template:ION North Dakota Stations requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Question

By any chance do you know Zim2007 (talk · contribs) or Thehalo1noob (talk · contribs)? You all seem to have very similar contribution histories. Also, Zim2007 was blocked just the day before you started editing. I'm not accusing, I'm just merely asking if you might happen to be the same person? If that is the case, I would encourage you to look at WP:EVADE. --MatthewUND(talk) 08:45, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unless this is an alternate account of Flnclan (talk · contribs), that user should not be using this user's page to make a userbox template. If Flnclan and Angergamer are indeed the same user, the {{Alternateuser}} template should be placed on each of those user's user pages. --MatthewUND(talk) 02:38, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question

I'm curious if you know Zim2007 (talk · contribs), Thehalo1noob (talk · contribs), or Angrygamer (talk · contribs)? I believe that Zim2007 and Thehalo1noob may be the same user. Immediately after Zim2007 was blocked, a new user by the name of Angrygamer started contributing to the same types of articles that Zim2007/Thehalo1noob contributed to. In other words, I believe that Zim2007/Thehalo1noob moved on to the persona of Angrygamer after the Zim2007 account was blocked. I posted a question about this on Angrygamer's talk page. After this question was posted, Angrygamer immediately stopped contributing and this account — Flnclan - was created. You seem to make similar edits to the edits that Zim2007/Thehalo1noob/Angrygamer made. In other words, I'm curious if you might be the same person that was editing under all of those previous names? If that is the case, please read Wikipedia:Username policy. That policy specifically reads "It is recommended that users not edit under multiple usernames, except with good reason. ... If you use multiple accounts, it is recommended that you explain this on your user page". This means that, unless they specifically explain why they are doing so, the same user should not edit under multiple names and should not create new accounts in the attempt to evade previous blocks or bans. I don't really have a problem with any of your contributions so far, but I don't like the idea of the same user repeatedly switching from account to account. An editor should stick with their account and not try to create multiple personas. I'm not accusing you of anything, I just think this looks very suspicious. If you are the same person behind the Zim2007/Thehalo1noob/Angrygamer accounts, I would ask you to please try to stick with one account. It is confusing and inappropriate to switch between accounts without explaining why. --MatthewUND(talk) 02:32, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you are the same person behind the Zim2007/Thehalo1noob/Angrygamer accounts, the {{Alternateuser}} template should be placed on all four user pages. If you do that and if you stick to this account instead of going off and starting yet another one, I think everybody would be happy. --MatthewUND(talk) 02:48, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Are you familiar with Zim2007 (talk · contribs), Thehalo1noob (talk · contribs), or Angrygamer (talk · contribs)? It looks as if these group of usernames are sock puppets, I have noticed that the user(s) in question doesn't reply back to messages. I have also noticed that when an editor sends a warning message to Zim2007/Thehalo1noob/Angrygamer, he/she/they makes another account. These are only my observations. I put sockpuppet templates on the three usernames, and then you added that template in your userbox collection.--milk the cows (Talk) 16:29, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Potential block

You have never responded to allegations that you might be the same person who has also edited under the Zim2007 (talk · contribs), Thehalo1noob (talk · contribs), or Angrygamer (talk · contribs) usernames. Because you have never verified or denied this connection between all of these accounts, it is highly innappropriate for you to be editing the user pages of these other accounts, for you to remove messages from the talk pages of these other accounts, or for you to remove templates about suspected sock puppetry from these other accounts' user pages and talk pages. If you continue to make disruptive edits to these pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Your continued contributions under this username are welcome, but you MUST refrain from making further edits like those outlined above. --MatthewUND(talk) 01:47, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
