Notice

The article Cleveland Jones has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Two of the articles have only passing mentions, and one seems to a PR interview. Doesn't seem to meet WP:BIO

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TheOneWorkingAccount (talk) 07:11, 26 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I've moved your article to Draft:Cleveland Jones where you can work on improving it before submitting for review. The issues are:

  1. Apparent lack of notability (see PROD notice)
  2. Promotional language
  3. Promotional links

You should also be aware of the Wikipedia:Conflict of interest guidelines. Deb (talk) 08:20, 26 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Travell Mazion requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Jaime Munguia into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. SoWhy 07:42, 2 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Fly As Day[edit]

Hello Your Favorite Writers Writer,

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

Information icon Hello, Your Favorite Writers Writer. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

I am not a paid editor never have I received money from any of the subjects in which I have written a Wikipedia article on. The subjects which I have written articles on were researched by myself or pages of entertains or athletes in which I have personally run across via the internet. I am a blog writer and I'm always looking for content in which is not being brought to the four front that should indeed be.Your Favorite Writers Writer (talk) 17:14, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You were informed in a thread above that you must declare if you are a paid editor and the information you must provide. You have not responded to that thread. You editing pattern shows every sign of being a paid editor. Please explain what is going on before editing any more articles. SpinningSpark 11:44, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I just responded to the thread above, I am not a paid editor and I'm not interested in becoming a paid editor. My focus is on researching subjects in which are entertainers and athletes of real people inside of their occupation Major sports individuals, Hip Hop artist etc that have solid links via the Internet etc. Individuals of such I write articles on. I do not know any of these individuals personally.Your Favorite Writers Writer (talk) 17:22, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Your Favorite Writers Writer: RE Hip Hop artists (or any other musicians) who have "solid links via the internet" that is NO indication that they meet the criteria for a Wiki page. These days anyone can set up a Soundcloud and YouTube and get 100K followers (especially if they pay) and put out a bunch of "albums" that are just digital tracks. There are specific lists for what qualifies someone, you should check out WP:NMUSIC for details. JamesG5 (talk) 03:20, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@JamesG5: Thank you for the insight, however, I am aware of Hip Hop artist (or any other musicians)which can set up a Soundcloud and Youtube and those that pay for 100k followers etc. You must understand I am a Client of a major sports agency I can tell off the back who is cheating the system as in purchasing followers etc. Of course, Soundcloud and YouTube isn't enough the individual(s) will have to have a strong presence, for example, a Jay Z, hmmm a first round pick NFL, MLB, this can fall in place of managers, staff etc. Again I thank you and will look over the specific lists for what qualifies someone WP:NMUSIC and will check out the details.Your Favorite Writers Writer (talk) 18:38, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What did you mean when you said "I am a Client of a major sports agency". This sounds like you have a conflict of interest in at least some of the things you write about and you are not declaring them, as you are obliged to do. SpinningSpark 21:59, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Spinningspark: What I mean is I understand the difference in which::@JamesG5: was sharing "I am a Client of a major sports agency" anyone can say that without proper research on whomever is claming to be whom. I look beyond just Soundcloud and social media followers ::@JamesG5: was speaking as if I wasn't aware and shared with me and I appreciate him for sharing as iron sharpens iron.Your Favorite Writers Writer (talk) 04:58, 26 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Travell Mazion moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Travell Mazion, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
