Hello/Chào anh

I'm not good at writing English, so i writes in Vietnamese ( vi-2 anh có thể hiểu phải không).

Em rất vui mừng khi thấy trong Wikiproject_Vietnam có một thành viên xuất sắc như anh. Nhưng em phàn nàn cái này: Sao mà anh đề cử bài viết chọn lọc về Việt Nam tòan có liên quan đến Chiến tranh Việt Nam không vậy :) em nhìn vào class FA thấy tòan máu me không; Wikiproject Vietnam không có các bài chủ đề khác thuộc class A có thể đem đi làm ứng cử viên sao?

Anh trả lời em ngay trong đây hoặc ngay trong tài khỏan thuộc Wiki-en, em rời bỏ Wiki-vi rồi em sẽ không check thảo luận bên ấy nữa đâu.

Chào ạnh. Sự thật là người đống gớp nhiều nhất ở trong WikiProject Vietnam là anh User:RM Gillespie. Anh RM Gillespie là một người nghiên cứu Chiến tranh Việt Nam ở đại học. WP VIETNAM có 17 bài mà được ghi nhận là A-Class. Anh RM Gillespie đã viết 15 bài trong, tất cả về đề tài Chiến tranh Việt Nam. Ngoài ra đó chỉ có Operation Passage to Freedom (chuyện nhửng người Bắc kỳ đi vào miền Nam lúc thời 1954 sao khi đất nước bị chia đôi) va Thiền sư Thích Nhất Hạnh. Ngoài ra, thì các bài FA bây giờ có Giải phóng Điện Biên Phủ, Đại tá Phạm Ngọc Thảo, vụ ám sát Ngô Đình Diệm. Tất cả ba bài này từ thời 1954-1975. Ngoài ra, bây giờ có Bồ Tát Thích Quảng Đức đang ứng cử để được nhận làm FA. Ngoài ra, có sáu bài WP:GA. Category:GA-Class_Vietnam_articles. Cái lý do thứ hai là tại vì ở trong Anh văn có rất ích tài liệu về lịch sử của Việt Nạm. Các nhà nghiên cứu lịch sử tiêng Anh từ Hoa Kỳ và Anh khong co theo giỏ Việt Nam trước 1945. Tại vì vậy, có rất ích sách vê lịch sử Việt Nam để dựa lên để viết bài. Em củng muốn học thêm lịch sử của Việt Nam trong thời Pháp và trước đó, nhửng nhà chống đối như Phan Đình Phùng và Trương Công Đình , các triều đình Nguyễn, chúa Nguyễn, chúa Trịnh, triều đình Lê, Trần và Lý, nhửng vua như Lê Lợi, Le Thánh Tôn, Quang Trung, Hai bà Trưng, Trần Hưng Đạo, vân vận. Nhửng đề tài chỉ có ích chi tiết ở trong sách Anh văn. Thư viện của em có rất ích tài liệu về nhửng đề tài nầy. CÁi nầy là một sự tiếc mà em khong có ngõ nào để thay dổi.

Cái em muốn hỏi là tại sao wikiproject_Vietnam viết bài về đề tài chiến tranh nhiều quá :| (các bài FA thì các bài có liên quan đến Chiến tranh Việt Nam không). Trong khi ở Wikiproject_China thì các bài FA có đủ trên mọi lĩnh vực: Văn hóa, chính trị, kinh tế của Trung Quốc... --> đây là chỗ em tiếc nhất :(. Nếu anh có hỏi em là tại sao lại không tham gia vào thì em cũng trả lời luôn: trình độ viết bằng tiếng Anh của em rất kém (em đang học) nên không đủ tự tin để viết(my English writing skill is too bad to write to Wikipedia_en Ex:Heaven's Will =(().

Về tư liệu lịch sử, nếu anh thấy cần có để bổ sung trong bất cứ bài nào. Anh có thể PM cho nick em sẽ cố gắng tìm và dịch đến mức có thể trong khả năng của mình (đặc biệt là ở các bài liên quan đến lịch sử Việt Nam thế kỷ thứ 17 trở về trước).

Ở Wikipedia mọi người có thể đống gớpgóp trong tất cả cách nào mà ta muốn và trong các ngành gì mà ta theo giỏi. Ở Wikipedia khong có một chương trình làm việc theo lệnh của một ban giám đốc. Vậy thì cái số lượng của FA là do những giải trí và thítthích thú của các người viết bài. Tại vì anh RM Gillespie biết rất nhiều về chiến tranh Việt Nam và anh là người làm việc rất tin tấn^{tin tấn=careful?} cẩn thận, vậy thì có rất nhiều bài về đề tài 1945-1975. WP có ít tài liệu ngoài ra chiến tranh thế kỹkỷ 20, tại vì những giáo sư lịch sử ở thế giới ^{sử dụng} Anh văn không có theo giỏi Việt Nam trước năm 1945. Tuy rằng em muốn hiểu biết thêm về Việt Nam trước thế kỹ 20, các người mà ở thế giới ^{sử dụng} Anh văn không có một cơ hội để đọc tiểu sử về Việt Nam trước thế kỹ 20. Ở thư viện đại học, có một quyển sách nói vê vụ lật đổ Ngô Đình Diệm. Sách nầy diển lịch sử Cộng Hòa Việt Nam từ tháng 5 tới tháng 11^{năm? year?}. Sáu tháng, mà các giáo sư viết 400 trang. Mà cuốn sách nói về Việt Nam từ 939 tới vua Gia Long chỉ có 200 trang. Những tài liệu ở thế giới tiếng anh không có gây ra cơ hội để nghiên cứu Việt Nam trong thời trước Pháp. Em rất tiếc rằng dây ở một nước Anh văn em không có cơ hội học hiểu thêm về lịch sử Việt Nam trước thời Pháp và các nhà lịch sử tiếng Anh cũng không có điều tra văn hóa và xã hội của Việt Nam trước thời Pháp. Ở thư viện có môt cuốn sách nó về xã hội của Chúa Nguyễn, các văn hóa, nhà quanquan lại, xã hội, xuất cảncảng và nhập cảncảng, buôn bán với NhậNhật^{Nhật= Sun not nhật} Bản, Trung Quốc. Cái trở <stirke>ngàingại là, FA-class cần ít nhất hai hây ba sách chứng nhận để thành cộng ứng cử. Em khuyến khích anh tiếp tục viết bài cho Wikipedia Anh Văn. Cái bài Heaven's Will anh đã viết trong một cách dể hiểu. Trình độ Anh văn của anh rất giỏi. Chúng ta cần thêm người ơ Việt Nam đống gớp tại vì các người sóng ở Tây phương không có tài liệu về đề tài như nhà Lê, nhà Trần, nhà Lý. Nếu không có anh thì đâu có ai để viết về các đề tài nầy. Gọi em là "em" đừng gọi em là "anh" mà :((. Em nhỏ hơn anh tới mấy tuổi lận.

Trước hết em xin cảm ơn anh về việc đã trả lời, em đã hiểu ra. Em sẽ cố gắng hết sức đóng góp bài cho Wikipedia English thuộc dự án Wikiproject_Vietnam (anh biết bài Heaven's Will em viết hết bao lâu không? Ba ngày Hai đêm đấy nên đôi lúc em không tự tin khi viết tiếng Anh cho lắm). Khi em viết xong, em sẽ nhờ anh vào chỉnh sửa lỗi chính tả, ngữ pháp, câu văn nhé. Em sẽ bắt đầu từ các bài ngắn ngắn (đủ tiêu chuẩn đưa vào Wiki)

Em vẫn đề nghị nếu anh có viết bài nào mà thiếu dẫn chứng và dữ liệu tương ứng hoặc thắc mắc chỗ nào. Xin anh cứ để 1 tin nhắn trong trang thảo luận của em, em sẽ đọc (em không viết giỏi, nhưng khả năng đọc và hiểu tiếng Anh của em thì cũng không tồi) và sẽ cung cấp tư liệu cũng như giải thích cho anh. Em hiện đang có 1 số tư liệu về lịch sử Việt Nam: (Book - hard cover)

• Đại Việt Sử Ký Tòan Thư [1] của Ngô Sĩ Liên
• Hòan Lê Nhất Thống Chí [2] của Ngô Gia Văn Phái
• Việt Nam Sử Lược [3] (a photocopy) version)
• Và các sách báo, sử nói về Sài Gòn xưa và nay, thần thọai của Việt Nam ....

Nếu có thể mong anh viết khung bài cho bài Nguyễn Huệ (hay Quang Trung) em sẽ cố gắng vào và hoàn chỉnh nó (tất nhiên là dưới sự giúp đỡ của các English master như anh) tất nhiên là sẽ Cite nguồn dẫn chứng đầy đủ.

We need more Vietnamese editors, since coverage of Vietnamese history is weak, especially in the the historic eras, pre French colonisation, which are not documented well by English historians and their publications. • You should English Wiki but I likewise encourage you to contribute to Vietnamese Wikipedia. I imagine that Vietnamese Wikipedia is even a worse state. If there are people in the Wiki world who are strong in both Vietnamese and English, then I suggest you to spend more time on Viet wiki and ask those people (If they exist) to translate it into the English articles. Thx for your advice. I might leave the book cover for now & see what happens. FYI, I uploaded a pic of the goanna at World Series Cricket and a pic of Bradman with Vic Richardson, have a look. BTW, Richardson didn't get on with Bradman, and he wasn't RC...lol. Chappell says Richardson wasn't an influence on his relationship with Bradman, but I find that hard to believe. The new Haigh-Frith book is interesting on this area; seems O'Reilly was more interested in talking to someone if he was RC. Cheers

Hi there Blnguyen, thanks for the thanks about my RFA!! Yes, I have continued my article work, currently my eyes are set on the plethora of lists that make up the List of Victoria Cross recipients. That brings me onto the FLC of List of Canadian Victoria Cross recipients. I have added in the refs, don't know why i forgot to add them! Please do me a favor and look over the contribs of Sfacets. Since you unblocked him after his PUI brinksmanship, he has been generally uncivil at his talk page and at Wikipedia:Possibly_unfree_images/2007_October_25, where he twice removed my warnings that by inviting other editors to review files he set up on his own server, he was collecting their IP addresses. (According to Will Beback, the text file in his directory includes the comment: "Thanks for your IP addresses.") I have blocked him for 1 week for continuing incivility and POINT violations, but I am asking you to review this because I have been involved in the back and forth with him, and because it was my comments he was removing. The fair use policy says that you cannot take copyvio pictures and modify them to create your own work. In the case of the images I deleted, firstly Virender Sehwag is very unlikely to be a free image, and the picture of the 6th PM of India is clearly marked as Fair Use, so it can't be reused as part of new work. Looking at other articles about Fraternities and Sororities, see Alpha Phi Alpha (it's an FA), most of the information comes from Alpha Phi Alpha history. And, I am wondering why CP is wanting to quick fail this? I have made appropriate changes. Miranda 22:42, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I tend to have strong opinions about self-sourcing, so I will probably have to get another opinion on that one. As for CP, I think he just meant the copyediting tag, which isn't really much of a problem since the prose wasn't of an unacceptable level. After the third one failed, I audited all WP:FL's in order to begin an experiment in my own user space that will hopefully get it going. Today, it commences at WP:LOTD. Afterwards I created my experimental page, a new proposal was set forth to do a featured list that is strikingly similar to my own which is to do a user page experimental featured list, but no format has been confirmed and mechanism set in place. I continue to be willing to do the experiment myself and with this posting it commences. Please submit any list that you would like to have considered for list of the day in the month of January 2008 by the end of this month to WP:LOTD and its subpages.
