Saving Aimee Pic Image:M_0e72f1cdc39b41848d0cc9e88a0890ef.png[edit]

Hi, you uploaded a new pic for Saving Aimee but copyright is marked "James Ellis 2008". Unless you are James Ellis or have explicit written release sufficient for Wikipedia (such as release into the public domain) then unfortunately the image can't be used and will be deleted again at some point for legal reasons. I personally think Wikipedia's policy on using official band promo pics is too strict but unfortunately that's not the current majority view. If you can give or get the necessary copyright clearance that would be ideal. Citizensmith (talk) 13:03, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Pic by Peter Hill[edit]

I contacted Peter Hill regarding the new image you uploaded and he has agreed to suitable release. However please do not in future claim you are the author of any work you did not personally create. Thanks Citizensmith (talk) 15:20, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The request for additional sources tag ends up on a lot of band articles so I wouldn't worry about it too much - although it would be nice if you could find some more. Best way is usually just to google for the more obvious "stand-out" parts of any article which are not already sourced then add any reasonable links. Often for a band this info can be sourced from their websites and it's normally ok to use that as long as it's factual. Citizensmith (talk) 19:52, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
