I have submitted a request for a user name change. The account is a not-for-profit organization and all edits were drafted for factual accuracy, not for promotion of the organization. I can categorically give an undertaking that edits made were not made to promote the organization but to provide updates in relation to, for example, the current structure and personnel. Thank you for your message and for the clarification in relation to conflict of interest. Having read the guideline, I am happy to disclose that as Secretary-General of the World Federation of Chiropractic, I receive compensation as an independent contractor for the organization. As previously stated, this is a not-for-profit corporation and editing is for the purposes of factual accuracy rather than promoting the organization so as to benefit financially. I can confirm that all future contributions will be compliant with the terms of use and am content to make the required statements on any pages to which I am referred for this purpose (I could not identify any hyperlinks to the pages referred to in the three bullet points). In relation to any other topics about which I might edit as a general contributor (I have no intention of doing so at this time), I will ensure that all steps are taken to comply with Wikipedia's rules and regulations. I'm tentatively inclined to consider the unblock, but I would like to make sure you understand the COI guidelines first. Dear Aoidh, thank you for your message. I have carefully read the Wikipedia article on COI and its suggestions for compliance. I note that editors are permitted to contribute to Wikipedia, so long as they comply with other policies and guidance. I recognize that it is important to avoid controversial edits on articles where there exists a conflict. My understanding is that if I saw an issue or something I would like to change/improve within a chiropractic article that fell within my COI, the correct wa to address the issue would be to propose changes on talk pages by using the {edit COI} template or by posting a note at the COI noticeboard so that they can be peer reviewed.
