File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Dumb blondes 008.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Dumb blondes 008.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 04:22, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Answering some questions for you[edit]

The article Dumb Blondes was edited to bring it into compliance with the manual of style. This includes things like formatting the article into sections, using proper grammar and spelling, and things like that. Also, regarding external links, Wikipedia articles are not supposed to include external links to Youtube within the article text. See Wikipedia:External links. Also, regarding one more thing, you may want to read Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. Everything you write at Wikipedia will be improved by someone else. --Jayron32 06:30, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Image problem[edit]

For File:Dumb blondes 008.jpg you have still not provided a copyright tag which is necessary to determine the copyright status of the image. Without it the image will be deleted. You claim the image was taken by Al Walter but there is no evidence that you, Wolfywiki, and he are the same person. Did you actually take the photo or is it just in your private collection? Please remember that possession of an image does not confer any rights to the person possessing it, only the copyright holder can release the image under a free licence. Perhaps that is you or not. If you are the copyright holder please follow the procedure found at WP:CONSENT and the OTRS Team will add a permission verification ticket to the image. If you are going to do this, let me know and I will add an {{OTRS pending}} tag to the image for you. It is really not that hard if you follow some of the links provided in the deletion notices. If you are still not able to figure it out you can always ask for help at the media copyright questions page, put a {{helpme}} tag on this page or drop me a note. You may find it useful to read my image copyright information page. Good luck. ww2censor (talk) 21:20, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
