Spam/revert war[edit]

You and David Justin (talk · contribs) need to cut out your link war.

Warning
Warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. -- Scientizzle 18:12, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, this is information I gave to David Justin (talk · contribs)

From the outside, it was one of the most impressive displays of edit warring I've ever seen (that's not a good thing). You both violated WP:3RR today, so don't go changing anything right now...The proper procedure would be to head to WP:AN/I to involve some admins; if you can show that your additions are in good-faith and are not spamming, then you might have a strong case against this other user for wikistalking and disruption. If you are spamming (read WP:SPAM to find out what this contitutes), then your edits may not be taken too kindly. -- Scientizzle 18:40, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

If you've got legit concerns about spamming, there are more appropriate ways to go about combating it than just reverting everything in site. If you feel that David Justin (talk · contribs) has edited inappropriately (per WP:SPAM), you should warn properly and report at WP:AIV, perhaps file a report at WP:AN/I, or find an outlet at Wikipedia:Resolving disputes. -- Scientizzle 18:47, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
