Yes, I think it's a mistake. If you look at the difference between the version before my edit and after, you'll see that the version before was completely without meaning. I'm guessing this was a knee-jerk reversion because the word "antisemitic" was used. Hello 24.140.238.234! Thank you for taking the time to write to me on my talk page regarding this. You are right to some extent, looking at the context more carefully, it's not as NPOV as it initially seemed. However, the sentence as it stands (without the word 'antisemetic') is a bit more encyclopedic and is fully explained in context. In addition, I wish I had the source to compare to, as Wikipedia explicitly goes by what the source says, so I'm not sure adding "antisemetic' to the sentence is a wise idea in any case, as it might misrepresent the source. I wonder in what sense it is more encyclopedic. Consider this sentence: Wagner's writings on the British corresponded to some existing trends of thought in Germany during the 19th century; Utterly worthless, no? Readers should not have to depend upon the section heading being either "Anti-British sentiment" or "Pro British sentiment" to infer what the opening sentence's meaning is. I see your point about the source, but if this is truly verbatim and the source does contain such an absurdly vapid sentence, I'm not sure it should be getting used. Hello 24.140.238.234, I think that it has worth, as it sets the tone for the rest of the paragraph. The phrase "anti-semetic" is already used later in the paragraph in this context, so the reader it not simply depending on the section header. Indeed, it shouldn't be verbatim, but I do not wish to potentially mischaracterize the source, either. Firstly, if you had a "Reply" to your email section, instead of trying to go through endless pages to find the correct one in which to contact you, things would be easier. I am in my late sixties, disabled and doing my best to help others. I have Hydroxyapatite Crystal Disease in most joints in my body, which is progressing at an alarming rate recently of late. You suggest i should comment in "Calcific Tendinitis" section. I did not know this, as my specialist informed me i had Hydroxyapatite Crystal Disease, yet you seem to know more than my specialist ?. I think the best thing to do is to erase ALL my comments from your site, as honest factual things seems to be of no value to this site. I will erase my my details from your site forthwith. You could have responded either on my talk page here (which I linked you to in my message on your own talk page), or on your own talk page - I've been checking both as I wanted to make sure I got your message wherever you left it. I am definitely not as well qualified regarding Hydroxyapatite Crystal Disease as your specialist, however it is my limited understanding that HCD does fall into the category of "Calcific Tendinitis". As there isn't enough information regarding HCD to warrant it's own article, I thought that the article regarding Calcific Tendinitis might be a correct place for you to put your information. To Chrisw80. You are probably correct in saying Hydroxyapatite Crystal Disease comes under the term "Calcific Tendinitis" but, i did not know this, as any other person told they have HCD wouldn't know to look for HCD under "CT" banner either ?. As i stated before, i have spend countless hours over the years trying to find any information on my disease. This is why i put on this website my personal story, of what actually happens to someone with this disease as it progresses through time, as nowhere else that i know of can such an account as mine be found, with an insight into its progression. So i have to stick to my idea of having (if any is printed) advice for other suffers of HCD, only under the HCD heading. I hope you understand my point. Hello Redrum56. Yes, creators of an article (at this point, a redirect) are notified when the article is examined by another editor for the first time, it isn't anything to worry about (it's very normal). It's not possible to delete accounts, if you do not wish to edit on Wikipedia anymore, then I recommend simply abandoning the account. It says 'Save page' because it's not actually sending a message, user talk pages (like this one) are web pages with your message to me on them. As such 'Save page' is the correct terminology. An email notification is often generated when such a message is posted. Think of it like a cork board next to your mailbox that people can pin letters to for you. For the moment, people searching for "Hydroxyapatite Crystal Disease" will find the 'Calcific tendinitis" page, which provides a rough explanation for Wikipedia readers. If it helps at all, I also have a rather rare condition that doesn't have it's own Wikipedia article. It is redirected to a more general article as well, and this is fairly normal on Wikipedia, as all topics should have comprehensive reliable coverage of them specifically to warrant an article. I would also recommend that if you'd like to share your story about your experience with HCD, there are many platforms such as social media that are probably easier for you (Facebook, Twitter, Blogger, etc.), and perhaps more suitable to a personal telling of one's experiences with this condition. Amazing Spiderman 2 budget

How are news article based on estimates more reliable than the actual budget from Sony? Sony does not dispute the veracity of the contents in the files places on wikileaks and a huge volume of news publications relied on them for multiple stories, including both Deadline and Variety. Well, they issued a statement opposing the release of those documents on wikileaks. [1] < Most people would say that an official statement opposing their release is confirmation of their authenticity. Ok, Depauldem. I've read through the Sony document and the news articles. They're talking about, ultimately, two different numbers. The Sony documents show an estimated number of $293 million (in 2013, before production started properly), and the news articles show $255 million, after production is pretty much completed. I'm inclined to go with the number that is more recent and after a good deal of the production was completed. Chrisw80 (talk) 00:59, 2 April 2016 (UTC)

Understood, but the more recent number isn't based on an actual source. It's just an estimate. And other budgets, like Spectre or The Interview, were reported as accurate. Why would they be considered accurate over prior estimates and not Spiderman? BTW--the news articles that ran the estimates were published only 6-7 months after the final budget Sony signed off on. The documents also show additional re-shoots that added to the cost. And then there are sources quoting budgets "between $200 to $300 million" that are more recent than the variety or deadline pieces.[4] Depauldem (talk) 01:43, 2 April 2016 (UTC)

Hmm.. Depauldem, do you have any other sources besides the ScreenCrush one? It just says "these films cost...". Honestly, I wouldn't mind putting $255-$293 million, and just having all three sources there. The thing to remember is that we cannot make inferences in Wikipedia articles. If a source is deemed reliable, then we use the information from it. If the source is incorrect, then concerned parties can go to the source and ask them to correct it. Please see Original Research and Reliable Sources. I know some of our guidelines and policies can be confusing and seem a bit silly at times, but they do make sense in the larger picture. Chrisw80, you deleted the edits (additions), I made regarding myself, Master Phillip Redmond (sifupr), and Master Keith Mazza saying there was no verification. It is so easy to verify who Keith Mazza and I are. I don't understand why you wouldn't do so before deleting my edits. You obviously are not a member of our Association. Also, may I ask who you are? Master Mazza and I weren't included in the Masters section of William Cheung's page so I made the correction. Please research before you take it on yourself to delete sonmething. Sifupr, I have responded on your talk page, but will answer some further questions here. The onus is on you to provide the secondary, reliable sources for the edits you wish to make. YouTube is not a reliable source, unfortunately. As I mentioned on your user talk page, Wikipedia requires that all edits, especially those about living people or organizations, be sourced from *secondary* *reliable* sources. These generally take the form of journalistic articles from reputable sources where the content is not provided by the subject. I hope this helps clarify for you. My name is Master Phillip Redmond. I'm one of the senior students under Grandmaster William Cheung. When I did a wiki search I found that there was information missing. First of all. My name and the other senior Master, Keith Mazza in the U.S. weren't mentioned. Also, William Cheung has changed the name of his Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Association to the Global Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Association (GTWCKFA). http://www.gtwckfa.org/

Forget about adding William Cheung's two top students. Keith and I aren't looking for fame. The important people know who we are. At least get the name of my Sifu's Association correct. It's now the Global Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Association (GTWCKFA). Hello Sifupr, you still seem to misunderstand what Wikipedia is. We are explicitly NOT researchers, nor is Wikipedia a profile page for Mr. Cheung or a promotional venue for any person or organization. Wikipedia is here to summarize what secondary sources say on a topic, that is what an encyclopedia is all about. I've updated the acronym on his page to add the missing 'C', as that's a perfectly reasonable edit to the page. I'm not sure what agenda you think I have here, I am simply attempting to have articles comply with Wikipedia guidelines. Question regarding "edit" tab/feature to edit articles

Hi Chrisw80,

I notice I am unable to edit entries and AfC submissions using the Edit tab. This seems to have happened just four days ago --- before that, there appeared an "edit" tab at the top right side of my screen, to make edits easy. Now it is gone! Instead, I only see an "Edit source" tab, which I can use to make edits but is much more cumbersome and difficult than using the easy editor "Edit" tab feature.

Have you ever encountered this problem when editing? If so, any advice/suggestions on what to do?

Hello ChopSticksChan, didn't notice this message until now. This is a new feature on Wikipedia. If you don't have it sorted by now, go to 'Preferences' at the top right, click 'Editing', and towards the bottom you'll see "Editing mode", use the drop down to select "Always give me the visual editor if possible".
