WZ-523 in Namibian service[edit]

Howzit,

I've been seeing you around on a number of articles concerning the Namibian Defence Force, just wanted to say good work on those, especially with regards to images. We've been sorely lacking in adequate media for the NDF for some time. However, I couldn't help but noticed you uploaded a recent photo of a Namibian Army WZ-523 IFV/APC. The WZ-523 article and the Namibian Army article clarify that the Namibian WZ-523s have BMP-1 turrets with a 73mm cannon. The photo you added just shows a WZ-523 with a single heavy machine gun, which is the same type operated by Niger, Chad, and a few other countries in Africa.

What happened to the BMP turrets? Would you happen to know if those are still in use? Or is our info out of date?
