Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! 220 of Borg 07:40, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

David Leyonhjelm[edit]

Hello Uknowispeaksense, regading you August edits to the David Leyonhjelm biography (WP:BLP)

  • You need to provide a source for the "... good for pig shooting" quote. Neither of the sources say Leyonhjelm said that.
  • Your comments in the edit here, " .. with no expertise himself, and demonstrating a serious lack of self-awareness responded by coldly saying .." and "What a grub.", suggests a lack of WP:NPOV. They were mostly removed within 7 hours by an anonymous IP editor here.

Please do not put your personal opinion/ or commentary on Wikipedia (WP) pages. Would you do this to an encyclopaedia in a library? Regards, 220 of Borg 07:59, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

November 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, David Leyonhjelm. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum.
