Good? Bad? The Wednesday Island 22:48, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good, but against policy. That image can't be in a userbox because it's a fairuse image. We actually had that before but were forced to remove it. Gateman1997 02:33, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose it would still be against policy if we redrew it using SVG or something. Bother. The Wednesday Island 02:40, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was just going to add the shield - is there anything that can be done to make itlike that? Justjared 21:04, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re-opening debate now there's a GFDL version of this shield. What do people think of the (Wednesday Island's design with the new shield inserted)? TSP 15:26, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Seeing as you just copied a copyrighted seal one of the copyright whores on this site will probably retag it shortly as a copyrighted work. Gateman1997 16:20, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I produced the shield independently from the blazon, which dates from 1918 so as I understand it is no longer in copyright. If you compare the two images, you will find that they are significantly different; however, both are valid drawings of the blazon. As far as I can tell, there are no copyrighted aspects of the new image; see Template:Coat of arms. TSP 17:25, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
