November 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Mohammad Sabri has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaz3yAW8DQk (matching the regex rule \byoutube\.com). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 21:20, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your posting on my talk page. For the record and for your future information, talk-page postings should be made at the bottom of the page, not the top. But no matter, I have corrected it.

I should point out that this article was deleted by another admin (HJ Mitchell) shortly after I originally deleted it. I am sorry to say that your revised article still is not a suitable wikipedia article. I suggest that you look at WP:MUSIC; I do not see this performer as qualifying under any of the required criteria. Also please note that social networking sites are usually not regarded as appropriate references, as they cannot be easily regarded as independent third-party sources. Sorry not to be more helpful. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 11:13, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I note that you have re-created the article, with an expanded title (which in my opinion contains "weasel words"), and I have read your further posting on my talk page. The new article is at present not speedy-tagged, and in view of my involvement in this discussion it would not be right for me to tag or delete it. But I have to say that it STILL does not satisfy WP:MUSIC. Creating a theme song for a town does not automatically qualify. If it does not get deleted, all well and good. If it does I suggest that you undertake further discussion, if you wish, at WP:DRV. Best wishes. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 19:48, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Mo Sabri the Overnight Classic requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the notability of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Stuartyeates (talk) 08:16, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
