- It's not about seniority or rank, it's about you intentionally using the incorrect pronouns for someone. MOS:ID makes this clear:
Use gendered words only if they reflect the person's latest self-identification as reported in recent sources.

- FWIW, while there is no rank or seniority here, I would highly recommend you consider listening to people who have made literally thousands of times more edits than you have, as they're likely to haven encountered and learned policy you haven't yet encountered.
