September 2010[edit]

Welcome and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page Kesha worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox instead. Thank you. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 00:17, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think my edits of linking Tik Tok to Tik Tok (song) (i.e. "Tik Tok") should be utilized in Kesha's wiki page. Could you keep those/add them yourself? -Todayishere (talk) 00:23, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, please be aware of WP:OVERLINK. Basically an item should only be linked once maybe twice in an article. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 00:48, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I was unaware; thanks for informing me. However, right now it's not linked once in the entire article. I think it should at least be linked in the opening paragraph and again under 2009-Present when it is mentioned more in depth. -Todayishere (talk) 01:02, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Kanye album edits[edit]

Relevance is disputable and the case you are trying to make is not compliant with the neutral point of view aspect noted in WP:Albums. The notability of the review source should also be considered, but arguing one publication over the other is also disputable; both are reputed online music publications, but Allmusic is noted as a "database" and has reviews on albums twofold to those of Pitchfork, which has been subject to criticism regarding its reviews. In this case, Allmusic's review is more critical, analytical, and formal, making it more convenient to quote. To your point about the perfect rating's notability, several other publications gave the album such a rating, and regardless, it is a rating, while WP:Albums stresses criticism. It is trivial to point out a record score within the context of that one publication, regardless of what publication it is. The section's content is sufficient and such information is unneeded.
