Nintendo Revolution GPU

Hello, I thought I would tell you how to interpret a part of the IGN Revolution's Horsepower article that you didn't seem to understand. Of course, no normal person would. The sentence in IGN's article says the following:

"The 'Hollywood' is a large-scale integrated chip that includes the GPU, DSP, I/O bridge and 3MBs of texture memory," a studio source told us.

Large-scale integration (LSI) is a technical term used in digital design to describe the number of transistors/gates in a chip. It doesn't mean all-in-one as you thought, it's supposed to be interpreted as it has tens of thousands of transistors in it.

Nothing big, the editors over in IGN don't seem to understand this either. The quote in their article should read as "The 'Hollywood' is a very large-scale integrated chip..." since very large-scale integration (VLSI) is a better way to describe a modern-day GPU. 137.48.130.200 02:38, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks... on the off change you'll read this, I do know what VLSI and LSI mean (I'm a firmware engineer at a hardware manufacturer myself). Even as an engineer, it's often hard to figure out what another engineer originally said when it's been passed through the filter of a non-technical person. From the context, I surmised that rather than an LSI, the original source was really referring to Hollywood being SIP-like rather than a single chip. I could be wrong, though. Ah well, I'll pressure IGN a bit more for a clarification since the content was filitered by their editors...there's no way Hollywood is LSI if it has 3 megs of texture memory. In the meantime, since that statement is ambiguous, I'll do what I can to clean up that bullet in the main article so people don't read it wrong...in case IGN really did mean it in the context of LSI/VLSI. 137.48.130.200 19:41, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Sorry about the templated response, but it makes life easier than to type it all out. Thanks for your help. You might have noticed that nearly all of the favourable Video professor edits were made in Colorado which is also incidently the Headquarter of Video professor (e.g. 71.212.195.94, 67.190.37.160 and 24.8.240.198). As noted on the (talk page), the information to which I reverted (not "introduced") was properly sourced by the interview cited on the page; unsourced were your allegations of embezzlement and lack of credentials on Mr. Calhoun's part. Copyvio School of Nursing

Why were my edits to the School of Nursing page deleted? It noted that they were taken from a School of Nursing site, however, I work for Communications Department for the School of Nursing and was told to update the profile. Tlesher, thanks for your edits of the Writing portion. I apologize for my illiteracy. Botendaddy strongly feels that the influenece of Romero and Chilly Billy on the writers of Pittsburgh should not be underestimated. Rusty Cundieff is definitely of that age group to feel that influence as well. Writers from CMU and Pitt had a fantasy-sci-fi-macabre slant years before it was popular. Remember, Rocky Horror hung on for about 20 years at King's Court. The SCA has had remarkable staying power in this area. The three writer's workshops I mentioned are responsible for literally hundreds of publications. I may write to Pitt's and CMU's Creative Writing departments to see if some of the profs think there really is a "Pittsburgh Style". Chabon has become a bit of a chronicler of Pittsburgh. I do now. When it was a redirect to London Monarchs (which had no such reference), and was being linked to by a vandal who was altering pages of players who played for the Monarchs to point to the Nannies redirect page, there was no basis to even find that out. tlesher (talk) 01:32, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

You removed claim for originality in Sriracha sauce [1] It hadn't occurred to me that was questionable until I examined your edit. Looks like the history of that sauce needs substantiation. In this edit, no doubt with good reason, Paul 012 changed the country of manufacture from Thailand to the US.[2] Yet I wrote the original entry, and am relatively certain I took "Thailand" from a reliable source. It would be nice to have definitive information on this product. Unfortunately, hot sauce manufacturers often seem to have little interest in disclosing the "mystery" of their products. Wikipedia:WikiProject Pittsburgh activity

Wikipedia:WikiProject Pittsburgh is rolling out some new features (see our discussions at WT:PITTSBURGH). We are also trying to determine how many members are active, and interested in contributing to Pittsburgh content or coming to our real life meetups to discuss Wikipedia in general. If you could go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Pittsburgh/Members and move your name from inactive to the active or semi-active group (depending on your interest in Pittsburgh issue and overall activity) groups, this would be great. re: Sally Solomon, Pike, Dubceks, et cetera

Please to forgive as English is a second language and I am still not fluent in navigation of a wikipedia site. Unfortunately I know not about how to insert reference as evidence in article of Sally Solomon. But I direct author to include numerous reference, notably of the review of this http://suisight.blogspot.com/2012/05/o-how-mighty-have-fallen.html and conversation between Johnston and Pike in comment section. Also see Johnston Twitter page and of Facebook page for "GUTS" the book which references it. I know journalist say that meeting for lunch occurred and Johnston mentioned it for Twitter. Please to forgive bad translation as I have not google translate on the computer instead on my phone.
