An article you recently created, Dr.Bahauddeen Muhammed Jamaluddeen Nadwi, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello Tinkvu. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Tinkvu. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Tinkvu|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Symmachus Auxiliarus (talk) 03:39, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've added it. Tinkvu (talk) 04:16, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Darul Huda Islamic University, you may be blocked from editing. Sabeelul hidaya (talk) 08:24, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I didn't get the term, Disruptive you are talking about. I am trying to improve the article DHIU at the best and it's you, @Sabeelul hidaya who is trying to disrupt the edits[1]. Please stop it from your side and help Wikipedia to be clean.
Changing articles to your personal thoughts is against Wikipedia Guidelines and should be stopped.
If you have any personal disagreement with Darul Huda Islamic University or related managing committee, then Wikipedia isn't the right place to show your revenge.
@Sabeelul hidaya Please take these all points to your consideration.
And please let me know if I am wrong! Tinkvu (talk) 08:37, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Tinkvu: your clearly editing the article in a disruptive manor. Stop trying to add promotional material back to it that other people remove. Also, don't make accusations that people who disagree with you are just trying to get revenge on the university. Seriously, give it a rest already and listen to the multiple people that have given you warnings, blocks, and advice about how to edit appropriately already. --Adamant1 (talk) 14:02, 29 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, it's my mistake. So if I want to add anything to improve the article, I should add it to the talk page for review, right? Is it how it should be added? @Admant1, please make it clear to me. Tinkvu (talk) 15:23, 29 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's your job to read and adhere to WP:COI (Hint: Search for "strongly discouraged" and "propose changes on talk pages"). ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:25, 29 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Tinkvu, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Sabeelul hidaya (talk) 18:09, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I pinged you from Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Tinkvu (permalink), but just to make sure you see what I said: This is your only warning: Do not !vote in the same AfDs or other content discussions, in areas where [you and/or Nezvm have] a COI. This also applies to any other COI/paid editors you may know. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 03:19, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia's "conflict of interest" guideline[edit]

Some of your editing has not complied with Wikipedia's guideline on conflict of interest. You have been given a message relating to this above, but that message 's main focus was on paid editing, and the relatively low-key mention of "conflict of interest" may not have registered on you clearly, so here is a message geared more specifically to the "conflict of interest" guideline, and related matters.

Information icon Hello, Tinkvu. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. JBW (talk) 23:09, 13 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sure! Thank You. Tinkvu (talk) 05:26, 14 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Despite performing the empty gesture of thanking me for my message above, you have continued to edit contrary to Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline, and also to edit-war. Since posting messages to you explaining that what you are doing is unacceptable has no effect, I have blocked your account from editing. At present the block is for a very short time, in the hope that it will be enough to persuade you that complying with Wikipedia policies and guidelines is not optional, but if you continue in the same way after this block is over, you are likely to be blocked for much longer.
If you are willing to abide by Wikipedia's policies and guidelines in future, and if you think that there are good reasons why letting you return to editing before the time scheduled for this block to end, then you may request an unblock. To do so, first read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} to the bottom of this page, replacing the words "Your reason here" with appropriate text. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JBW (talkcontribs) 22:57, 14 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked from editing the article Darul Huda Islamic University [edit]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked temporarily from editing for advertising or self-promoting in violation of the conflict of interest and notability guidelines. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

I have blocked you from editing the article Darul Huda Islamic University, because you are a paid contributor on the university's behalf, but you have not followed Wikipedia's policies about paid editing. As soon as your previous block expired, you resumed adding promotional material to the article. Please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#Paid editing. As a paid editor you must NOT edit the article directly. You can make suggestions on the article's talk page, and if the material is OK someone else will add it for you. -- MelanieN (talk) 21:11, 29 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

MelanieN is Tinkvu allowed to suggest edits on the talk page while being blocked from editing the article or do they have to wait until the block is over to do so? --Adamant1 (talk) 07:27, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, he is allowed to suggest edits on the article's talk page. In fact that is exactly what he is supposed to do as a paid editor; he is not supposed to edit the article directly. Other people then do what they think is appropriate with his suggestions: add the suggested material to the article if they find it worthwhile, or reword it, or add portions of it, or refuse to post any of it. In other words, he is not supposed to edit the article directly; some other, neutral editor has to decide whether to follow his suggestions or not. And that will continue to be the way he is supposed to act after his block expires: he should still use the talk page to make any changes. In effect the block was simply a way of enforcing the Paid Editing guidelines. I think he now understands the rules. -- MelanieN (talk) 19:31, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
OK. Thanks for the clarification. I just didn't want him to needlessly get in more trouble if he didn't have to. I'm glad to know he can still suggest edits on the talk page though. --Adamant1 (talk) 08:51, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
