Regarding your concerns at my talk page: That's fine. Articles for deletion discussion last a minimum of 5 days. If reliable, independent, and extensive sources get added to the article during that time frame, I will withdraw my nomination for the article's deletion. Deletion is not iminent if the reasons offered for deleting the article become invalidated by the article meeting the inclusion criteria spelled out at WP:N --Jayron32.talk.contribs 04:56, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The AfD[edit]

About your note on the talk page: the process of considering the article for deletion must run its full course (a minimum of five days as Jayron32 said above) and the banner on the entry page can not be removed before that ends. The intention of the notice on the article page is to direct people (like me) to the discussion; so removing it would be counter-productive in any event.

Also note that my vote ("weak keep") indicates that I'm not fully convinced that this entry has a place on Wikipedia. What the entry needs is several (half a dozen or so would do nicely) reliable sources that provide non-trivial coverage of the organisation. At question here is not the plight of the Aids orphans of Uganda, or the quantum of the problem; sources on those issues that do not even mention the organisation are of little help. The news coverage must be primarily about the organisation and its work.

Keep in mind that these sources need not be online, although that is always a great help. You can cite local newspaper coverage, books and research papers that are not available online. As long as you provide sufficient detail for those sources to be tracked down and verified by another editor they are valid.

If you need any help or clarification, please do drop me a note on my talk page.
