I think you misunderstand McCarthy. You are right, what’s redacted can’t be proven either way. But that’s not the point McCarthy is making. He’s saying with all his years of decades of experience, he’s completely shocked that the dossier as a corpus of k owledge, (as opposed to the information inside perhaps), would even be mentioned, that that flies against all precedent.
