August 2020[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove declinature notices from draft articles as you did at Draft:VVG SQUAD. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 23:19, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Why, not. The request is declined or I should keep for two months until it's submitted as an articleThomas9877 (talk) 23:23, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It is a Wikipedia policy that the notices are not removed. I have restored it once more. You should not remove it again or it could be seen as disruptive and may lead to the loss of editing privileges. Unless the draft can demonstrate WP:NOTABILITY it is unlikely to be accepted as an article. Eagleash (talk) 23:30, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Why it is unlikely to be accepted as an article. It should take no sooner than 8 weeks for it to be accepted as an articleThomas9877 (talk) 23:40, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I understand now. I agree to wait at least eight weeks for my draft to become an article. Also I will edit my draft once a week. Thomas9877 (talk) 23:44, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict):Because it does not demonstrate notability. I would suggest that you carefully study all the links provided above together with the notability guidelines and you may find WP:YFA and this page to be helpful also. Wikipedia reports on what has been written (in-depth coverage) in multiple independent, reliable sources.
In addition, if you think the draft will somehow automatically become an article in 8 weeks (I do not know why you would think that) that is not the case. All new articles go through a review process to some extent and have to be reviewed and accepted by experienced Wikipedians who are provided with the the tools to do so effectively. Eagleash (talk) 23:53, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you read the help instructions of Articles of Creation you'll know what I'm talking about. Or you saying that my draft have to be an complete draft before being submitted as an articleThomas9877 (talk) 23:59, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Can a complete draft demonstrate notability. If that what you are explaining. I just started on this draft. Like I said I'm only go edit it once a week. Cause what you are saying is that my draft I created is an incomplete draft. Also I don't have a problem. I understand I promise 00:11, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

A draft needs to demonstrate notablity (please study the links previously provided) and must include sources to support statements of fact. See WP:REFB for the guidelines on how to correctly add references. If you have seen mention of 8 weeks at AfC, I suspect that this refers to the current estimated time that *could* elapse before a draft is reviewed. It could be less or it could be more. Reviewed does not mean accepted though. Typically, I would say more drafts are declined and returned for improvement, than are accepted. Eagleash (talk) 00:29, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

So you saying that my draft should have references Thomas9877 (talk) 00:33, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. All articles have to be sourced. Eagleash (talk) 01:29, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Like what you mean sources to other articles Thomas9877 (talk) 01:30, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also how can my draft get source Thomas9877 (talk) 01:34, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please read *all* of the links that have provided to you. As before WP:YFA and User:Ian.thomson/Howto are helpful in getting started. Wikipedia requires in-depth coverage in multiple independent reliable sources. It is not interested in anything an organisation or subject or anyone connected with it has to say about itself. You will need to find multiple reports in reliable sources and write the article based on what those reports say. As it stands it does not appear that the subject of your draft will be able to demonstrate notability. Just because something exists, does not mean it is worthy of an article in an encyclopedia. Wikipedia is not a form of social media like Facebook and similar sites. Eagleash (talk) 01:46, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

This account is not a sockpuppet and it does not consider Romello Brooks. Also i know why i was block because i use the name Pro Bro. Thomas9877 (talk) 19:22, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You have a pretty distinctive way of writing that gives it away, even without the subject matter overlap and the technical evidence. Yamla (talk) 19:47, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Bro I know what y'all doing. I'm not admitted to being Romello Brooks as by adding "Pro Bro". Thomas9877 (talk) 20:13, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I promise I'm not go add the name "Pro Bro" again. Just unblock me please. Thomas9877 (talk) 20:14, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

So stop thinking im Romello Brooks just stop Thomas9877 (talk) 20:15, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
