A tag has been placed on File:The Siren Red Carpet.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Deletion discussion about Epicstep[edit]

Hello, Thisisepicstep,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Epicstep should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Epicstep .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Hello. I am a huge fan of this music and have been a fan since i first saw a performance of this artist on television many years ago. Theres no conflict of interest, just good ole fashion regular interest in the artist. I looked him up and noticed there was no page so I created one for the records. This genre of music 'epicstep' is all over soundcloud and youtube. The inventor of it has the right to receive credit. I think its a very interesting music genre, its by far my favorite genre which is why my name uses it. the term "thisisepicstep" is what a computer voice says on some of the artists songs. you can listen to it on spotify, pandora, youtube, itunes, etc if you dont know. people make online names based off artists they like all the time. nothing wrong with that. someone has the name hiphopKING, rapQueen, TechnoKid, why not EpicstepMan, or ThisIsEpicstep? If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

I find it hard to believe there is no WP:COI considering 2 years ago you directly admitted to being "Sirens" manager. The discussions and disputes also have nothing to do about "the right to receive credit" for creating the genre. No one is trying to take credit away from him. The concerns about strictly about whether or not Wikipedia policies and guidelines are followed. Sergecross73 msg me 13:59, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
