Speedy deletion of "Adam Blind"[edit]

A page you created, Adam Blind, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, organisation, or web content, but does not indicate why its subject is important or significant.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. J.delanoygabsadds 05:58, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your feedback[edit]

Your addition simply didn't belong in Wikipedia, because there's no evidence that Adam Blind (you, I'm guessing?) is notable.

In response to your feedback[edit]

Hi Theunderwearman. Welcome to Wikipedia!

It looks as if your contributions have fallen foul of the notability guidelines. In a nutshell, Wikipedia prefers not to contain articles or information about anything or anyone that is not notable. by this we mean, things or people one would expect to find in an encyclopedia.

If you can show evidence by reference that a thing or person is notable enough to be included, you should feel free to add that information. We are encouraged to be bold, but to avoid conflicts, we are also encourgaed to discuss editing differences rather than simply keep re-adding removed contributions.

A rule of thumb is that if something or someone isn't notable enough to have an article about them, they are probably not notable enough to be mentioned in another article.

There are also some slightly more strict considerations when writing about living persons. These guidelines are for the protection of both the subjects and Wikipedia.

If you are still unsure how to proceed, feel free to leave a message for me on my talk page, and I'll do my best to help you any way I can.

Again, welcome to Wikipedia! Happy editing!

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Adam Blind requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. sillybillypiggy¡SIGN NOW OR ELSE! 17:35, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
