Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Re: How does a pge gwet semi-protected[edit]

Basically you can post a request for page protection (RFPP) and an admin will come along and evaluate the page history to see if the recent activity is problematic enough to warrant semi-protection in accordance with our protection policy. I went ahead and took a look at Dennis Kucinich's page history, and while there is a bit of a strange jump in activity/vandalism, I personally don't believe it's yet enough to meet the requirements for semi-protection under our current policy. That said, if it quickly gets worse—especially if the vandalism is being performed by multiple ips/editors in a short period of time—definitely post to RFPP. Of course, that's just my personal opinion, and you're always free to post a more general request on RFPP for another admin to review. =) Cheers :) --slakr^\ talk / 22:45, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
