I've just read this page and it is almost nothing but unverified info, amounting to original research. You are one the 2 main contributors to this information. Bill Haley and the Comets

Don't know where this came from, but it is flat out incorrect. "were originally Bill Haley and the Westernaires. They were a western swing band. They had a steel guitar player, Tommy Allsup," non of Haley's bands had that name, and Tommy Allsup's name is absent from session records. Steve Pastor (talk) 19:39, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
