Hi I saw your edits on James Robinson (comics) [1] [2].

There are provisions to deal with requests for privacy but, as I'm sure you understand, we don't know you are James Robinson. What you need to do, to prove your are who you say you are, is to contact Wikipedia which will go into the OTRS and they can, confidentially, confirm your identity and we can take your wishes on board.

If you need any more help you can post a question here or on my talk page or, if it is something you'd not want to discuss publicly, you can email me through Wikipedia.

For the time being I will make sure the version without your personal information on is the main one (we can protect it if there are problems) and I will alert other editors to keep an eye on the page too which should reduce chances of any problems while we are resolving this situation. Whether you are who you say you are, nor not, there's no need for that information to be in that article. Drop me a note on my talk page if I can help further.--Scott MacDonald (talk) 23:33, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Birthdays and the location of birth are common enough on articles as are other biographical details - a recent anonymous editor did add in other WP:BLP-violating material and most of that was removed, although some of the family information did remain (and that is not needed). Additionally, that cat is out of the bag elsewhere. IMDB has the same birthdate information. —C.Fred (talk) 01:30, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And the Comic Book DB - it should be easy enough to get those removed too, obviously, but someone has got the date from somewhere so there are presumably other places this is available out there. That said Wikipedia is high on the search engine results so is a good place to start I suppose. (Emperor (talk) 01:36, 9 October 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Hi I have noticed you keep changing the personal details of James Dale Robinson, born Dale Norman James Robinson in Sale, Manchester, United Kingdom.

How do we know you are Jimmy as he is known by the family. His wiki is read with great pride by many family members in Australia, England, Canada and many other places in the world.

His personal details are now on many family trees some online. His birth cert is with many of those developing the trees His sister Susanne writes about him on her Blog [3]. His Australian cousin Rodney Berling [4]now lives in UK and is in the British Film business. He is following in his footsteps. His nephew Matthew an officer in the British Army has many units who read his wiki. Pictures of him are on Facebook.

We would all appreciate it is you would stop messing about with Jimmy's wiki so it can be expanded for all of us to read.
