Hi. The article is beginning to look good. I would ask Gogo Dodo his/her opinion. There is also a Request for Comment section where you can get input and opinions from other users. Your article could of course do with some reformatting in terms of Who, What, Where, When etc - it needs to explain why it is notable without bragging INSTEAD of your argumentative statement that it "... is one of the few membership-based music/ record producer organization that supports the advancement of up and coming producers through Education and Opportunity" - this is not exactly verifiable. If it is verified by magazines or newspaper articles etc then you can probably squeeze that in by saying "So-and-so said of Dynamic Producer, 'My word, this organisation really is one of the few membership-based music slash record producer organizations that support the advancement of up-and-coming producers through both education and opportunity!'". Finally, the biggest crunch to new articles is whether or not they're notable - take a look at Wikipedia:Notability_(organizations_and_companies) for notability guidelines on organizations to see if you could argue for this articles inclussion in an encyclopedia. Some questions that come to mind when I gloss over your article: Where is this organisation based? (I gather in New York City but you need to stipulate that). How is this organization structured? What makes this organisation notable? I would restructure the introduction to the article firstly by summarising in one or two single sentences a general overview of the entire subject using Who What Where and Why, something like (for example): Dynamic Producers is a record producer association based in New York Cityfor aspiring and independant producers through the use of education and support. [Editor's Note: That would be enough of an introduction, otherwise you could add even more: ] It has over 1,000 members including Kanye West, John Doe and Jane Doe". Getting back to that claim of yours that it's one of the "few membership-based music/ record ..." take it out because it's not verifiable and makes it look like a PR article. Re your message: To make a new article not sound like a PR article, I recommend finding an existing article about a similar organization and style the new article on the existing article. You can create a draft copy of the article in your user space so that nobody marks the article for deletion while you work on it. For example, you can create a working copy at User:Talentshout/Dynamic Producer. Once you are satisfied with the draft copy, you can move the article to the correct name. I also recommend reading the guide on writing your first article, especially the links on the bottom in the "And then what?" section. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 19:04, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
