Ecco Pro[edit]

I see you are new at the article, and relatively new here. Regarding your edit here:

  • the pages eccomv.com and eccotools.com which are linked as references do not attribute the sentence they are meant to be attributing. See the verifyability and reliable sources guidelines. Those are not independent references.
in what way specifically? THI (talk) 12:36, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • The external links that are included, of which you state on the talkpage "First time I have ever come across the demand to include sourcing reference for the validity of an external link  !", are not official, there is nowhere stated that they are official, they are a forum, that is all. And a) forums are to be avoided (see WP:ELNO), and b) the intro of WP:EL states "The burden of providing this justification is on the person who wants to include an external link.". That justification is NOT given, although it has been asked over and over.--Beetstra
Justification is distinct from established by reference. Where do you see that WP:EL either requires, recommends, or refers to need for any 'reliable reference' in relationship to external links ? Can you find any other article where editors had demanded reliable sourcing for external links ? THI (talk) 12:36, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

May I ask you to discuss the edits further before that can be included. Thanks. --Dirk Beetstra T C 08:07, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You feel you own the article ? THI (talk) 12:52, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Is that the new technique? No, my questions have been asked by more than me alone, and noone answered. Please do not undo edits without explaining them. --Dirk Beetstra T C 13:56, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Take a look at the Talk Page history for Ecco Pro, see my deleted out comments[edit]

I see that you were subject to the same abuse. I am filing for Arbitration against those involved. Your involvement is invited. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.81.207.127 (talk) 21:53, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
