The reason given for Sydstone's block is: "sockpuppet of banned user". Your IP address is 205.188.117.6. Please unblock me, I use the internet through AOL therefore I guess there is a grey Area and as I had left a bad comment on Demiurge's page in response to the vandalism comment left by Demiurge I understand why I have been blocked there is a misunderstanding about this sockpuppet thing also. I think its best to notify an Author and recomment changes/edits in future —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sydstone (talkcontribs) 14:59, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

Sydstone has contacted me via email requesting help. Since he has demonstrated some desire to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, and since there is no overwhelming evidence that he is a sockpuppet of an indef blocked user, I will kindly ask Jtdirl to consider unblocking Sydstone and giving him a second chance. Honestly, it's very difficult for me to judge the quality of Sydstone's edits to the Pat Kenny article, because I have very because I have very little knowledge of Irish popular culture. At first glance, I assumed that his edits were vandalism because they involved the addition of words such as prick and Granny-punching. Upon further review, I can't be so sure that he isn't merely presenting a different point of view from the perspective currently represented in the article. If the Pat Kenny article is in fact biased, I hope it can be fixed quickly and in a civil manner. Thanks. --TantalumTelluride 05:42, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
As per my comments on User talk:Demiurge, I have been unable to read Sydstone's contributions as anything other than vandalism. Sydstone's personal attack on Demiurge does not leave me able to continue my assumption of good faith. I can see no deficiencies in the Pat Kenny article which would be assisted by the sort of edits made by Sydstone. I'm not experienced in administering blocks, but this one looks justified to me. --BrownHairedGirl (talkcontribs) 10:31, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Very well, then. If all three of you agree, I trust your judgment. --TantalumTelluride 17:08, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I did not add prick and Granny-punching. I tried to delete this as these comment seem like someone was messing and very false. I'm certain that using language such as prick in an encylopedia and not under a abusive language article is very good reason to block someone from editing but I did not add this surely you can see that I tried to remove these statements —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sydstone (talkcontribs) 08:21, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

Replied in email. --TantalumTelluride 02:13, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
