Your rollback request[edit]

Hi! I regret that I must inform you that your request for the rollback permission has been denied. You can discover why by checking the archives at Wikipedia:Requests for rollback/Denied/January 2008#Swilli88. RFRBot (talk) 05:00, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

January 2008[edit]

Hi, the recent edit you made to David Gest has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. I reverted your edits because you added a warning to the page. These go on user talk pages (such as this one here), not on the main article. I was using a semi-automated tool to revert vandalism, and saw your edit in the queue. Since it didn't seem right, I triggered it to leave an automated message on your talk page, so I can't really take credit for the suggestion. :) Let me know if you need any help. I warned robinator, and the IP was blocked by admins, so nothign else to do or worry about. ThuranX (talk) 04:58, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

After issuing enough appropriate warnings, you can report vandals for administrative action. However I notice that the edit warring seems to be a long running content dispute which no one has really talked about on the article's talk page. Why not at least try opening up a dialog there about the article's content so you can show that you're trying to resolve the differences that exist between editor's as to the aricle's disputed content? Well the article has now been semi-protected, I don't know for how long, so you won't have to worry about IP editing for as long as that lasts. If it's of a limited duration and the problems continue after it lifts, you can put in a request for a longer protection time. It looks neutral now. Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 16:38, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
