License tagging for File:Beach at The Mooragh Trevor Rickard.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Beach at The Mooragh Trevor Rickard.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:05, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for April 15[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Art Nouveau, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Archibald Knox. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:23, 15 April 2016 (UTC) OK, thanks for pointing that out, shall sort that out :)[reply]

Edit summaries[edit]

Please use proper edit summaries rather than m (minor) when making additions to articles such as you did at[[1]]. If you also use the 'Show preview' button it can help prevent unintended consequences such as happened in that edit. Best wishes SovalValtos (talk) 15:20, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Marking substantial changes as 'minor'[edit]

Please do not mark any changes you make that alter the way the prose reads as minor, You can read WP:COFAQ#MINOR for further information. Thanks.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 22:25, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A few words of advice particuarly relating to your comments on Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 June 10#File:Illustrated map of Peel, Isle of Man. Created May 2016 by Alice Quayle.jpg
  • You are not allowed to have two usernames on Wikipedia under most normal circumstances. If you have the identity of AliceQuayle (as seen in this article revision history all within an hour then you must {{retire}} one of the accounts immediately. I have been aware of the two identities since about a year, but the AliceQuayle identity has been dormant, as has Sunshineramsey mostly until this year. If you have any other account names, including any dormant, then similar applies - these need to be retired. There is also another identity, SunshineRamsey71 on Wikimedia Commons. If this is you, then you should seek advice on whether it is acceptable to continue. The username directly above, Ronhjones would be able to advise on whether you are allowed to have another identity for use on Wikimedia Commons, as I cannot.
  • Regarding your comments on your use of the © copyright logo, please be aware that any images or similar which you upload to Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons can be re-used by anyone, for any purpose including commercial, and including modification. This is a basic requirement of uploading to Wikipe/media. You cannot stipulate conditions on Wikipe/media, such as non-commercial use (without contacting you first). I note you have uploaded another map, annotated as "© amq 2004". You must decide whether to upload new versions without the copyright logo, or to request deletion; again Ronhjones would be best to advise on this. Thank you.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 22:03, 13 June 2016 (UTC)...[reply]

Hi there. Yes obviously I realise I can't stipulate conditions but I was hoping the (C) symbol would induce people to send me a message :) & Hi there. Just like to clarify that I've not set up different usernames for sinister purposes (!..not that I would be interested in doing so, or could think of any sinister reasons I would want to use them for). I would have retired the other accounts if I knew how to. As far as I can remember I set up the new ones because I forgot the password for the existing one and I needed to sign in to upload to wikimedia commons. I do feel it's a bit weird that someone's been watching me for a year....but maybe that is normal on wikipedia...

SPI investigation[edit]

You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/AliceQuayle. Thank you..

Based on your recent comments, I have suggested only Sunshineramsey71 is available to you. This is the easiest way to deal with your previous usernames, which you are unable to retire.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 10:02, 14 June 2016 (UTC)

If you agree, you can comment for expediency at the page indicated, which may help to close quickly.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 10:26, 14 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
