Embryology[edit]

The Article of the embryology page was contribute by a self published anonymous user in that most of the article don't have reliable references on those statements.one of them is

The Indian medical tradition in the Ayurveda also has conceptions of embryology from antiquity. Then Dalhana, a medieval commentator on the Sushruta Samhita, also describes embryological development. Dalhana claims that in the first month, the fetus has a jelly-like form, whereas cold and heat cause a change to hardness during the second month. Limb differentiation occurs in the third to four months and intelligence even later.Neither the citations describes about it. David dclork li (talk) 08:10, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@David dclork li: By which I assume that Sumanuil is pointing out that they have not edited the article Embryology recently, if ever, and if your comment is intended to bring about the improvement of that article, it belongs not on this editor's Talk page but instead on the article Talk page found at Talk:Embryology. Unless your complaint concerns a specific editor's behavior, that is usually the case. General Ization Talk 23:32, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I did edit it. Once, a month ago, to fix a broken file link. Still don't get what this is about. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 23:34, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The editor is pointing out that the content they quoted which is found at Embryology is unsourced and seems poorly stated (Dalhana has not "claimed" anything in at least the last 700 years), if not factually incorrect. General Ization Talk 23:40, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, then I'll take it out. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 23:41, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Sorry about the mistake on Ted Stevens—I had added a lot of 's ...es? to the article, and my eyes must have just completely missed that I was looking at a file name rather than a caption.--Jerome Frank Disciple 01:46, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

UploadWizard own work for DYCD[edit]

Hi, Sumanuil! I've already upload my own work with UploadWizard for DYCD. The station is now known as Retro Cebu since 2015. This logo was unveiled last May 7, 2023, according to Retro Cebu 103.5 Facebook page as a profile pic, same goes with Retro 95.5 Davao.

Please revert it, the one that I'll upload a new logo for Retro Cebu to be updated in 2023. Thank you and advance! Jemz2023 (talk) 06:56, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds like it would be a copyright violation, so no. "I took it off their social media" is not "own work". - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 08:45, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, but i'm very sorry because this is not a "own work". So, I hope that I'll doing my best.
Please nominating for deletion to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:1035RetroCebuLogo.jpg right now because it will be a copyright violation. Jemz2023 (talk) 10:18, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I already did on Commons. That should be sufficent. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 06:44, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 21:49, 9 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, that vandal on that page is WP:LTA/LB2 (Lithuaniaball2) - they usually have Captcha usernames that end in the number 2 and vandalize car related articles. More info can be found on the LTA page I linked to in this comment. In the future it might be a good idea to report them to SPI; I filed a report there FYI. -- Prodraxistalkcontribs 14:49, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I thought there was a hint of the sock drawer in the air, but I didn't know if they were someone new or not. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 22:32, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Sumanuil You're welcome. I've been tracking this LTA down for a while now. If you have any questions about their M.O. I'm happy to answer them. -- Prodraxistalkcontribs 22:36, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification of notice on my talkpage[edit]

Hi there @Sumanuil,

I wanted to get some clarification about the notice you left on my talkpage, specifically about reverting vandalism on Lakeshore Hospital. Was that meant to be a notice or official warning? I'm sort of confused on this, so some clearing up would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your response! Losipov (talk) 03:05, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You reverted the most recent damaging edit, but there was another right before that. Sorry, it's a form message and could probably be clearer. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 06:12, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Removed modifications from Acmella oleracea[edit]

hello, I've been living in Brazil and Jambu is the only way to call it by the locals. The term Jambu appears already 6 times in the english version https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acmella_oleracea And it is also clearly stated in the Portuguese version in the first line: https://pt.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acmella_oleracea A link in Portuguese is good or it should be in english? LucasFR.pr (talk) 23:11, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't matter what language it's in. Just provide a reference. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 23:15, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Canadian Naval Ensign[edit]

Is there any reason why you are changing the Canadian Naval Ensign in a variety of CONTEMPORARY articles to the pre-1965 ensign? Like the Halifax-class wasn't even drawn on paper when that ensign was last used.... thats just an anarchronism at best. Leventio (talk) 00:52, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Because the file had been moved, and I was trying to find a workaround until it was fixed. Please read the notice at the top of the page. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 00:59, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Black market in wartime France[edit]

Hi, four people are working on the article and one of them suggested that having the sandbox off the article not my user space would be better for version control. If this is making the hamsters work too hard somehow, could you at least move it to Draft: Black market in wartime France 2/translation in progress? What you moved was section 2 of four of a very long article and I worry that some other good-faith patroller is, because of the way you named it, going to overwrite the existing article (section 1) with this draft (section 2). I am very distracted by a nearby wildfire so I am the wrong person at the moment to sort this out; could you please post in the #sandbox section of Talk: Black market in wartime France about this? I cannot revert your move but I think you should, or at least move it to some name that is not identical to the existing, different article. Alternately maybe we can just explain to the editor who suggested moving the text to a sandbox there why that would (apparently) be a bad idea. All text still exists in a sandbox in my user space so a prod would not pose a problem from that point of view. Please do however straighten this out though as soon as possible, before people edit further, as there seem to be the makings of a version control nightmare in this action. Elinruby (talk) 00:04, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't realize there WAS an existing article. I'll move it to Draft:Black market in wartime France/translation in progress. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 00:08, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

that would address my concern. I will update the talk page and the link there. Thanks. Elinruby (talk) 00:12, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

About tagging those two pages[edit]

About your revert on Salome Zourabichvili[edit]

Despite the IP claiming to remove propaganda, and what appeared to be good faith, I guess that was not a good idea, so I think that's why you reverted it. One question is that how could I be more careful the next time? I replied to your question on my talk page. Signed, 64andtim (any problems?) 17:52, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Just double-check what the source actually says. And remember that some people use "propaganda" to mean "things they don't like admitting". - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 20:43, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Revert at Member states of the International Labour Organization[edit]

Apologies, reverted your deletion edit without realising the image file had been deleted. However, in future if you could leave an edit summary would assist. Nevertheless, thanks for the cleanup. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 21:36, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Sumanuil -- Thanks for helping out at new page patrol. I've declined the above A7 because the acting award is a clear claim, even if (alone) probably not enough to meet relevant notability criteria. A7 is reserved for clear cases where there is no possible notability claimed. Regards, Espresso Addict (talk) 06:43, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Regardless, it's been rejected at AFC, but the author moved it to article space anyway. Three times. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 08:05, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Seems to have been a hoax in any case. Espresso Addict (talk) 00:01, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Changing the infobox image for 'Mihail Chemiakin'[edit]

Thank you Sumanuil for guiding me through my first feeble attempts at editing a page. I appreciate your support. I have one further question and that has to do with replacing the infobox image with an image of and by the artist Chemiakin that I have stored on my computer and not in Wiki Commons. I don't seem to have the permissions to delete the current image and replace it. Are there certain permissions required that I don't have and am I amble to do this without breaking numerous links?

Many thanks.

Alan Alan Lamb - USA (talk) 21:29, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

First, determine whether the image you want to use is under a free license. Wikipedia:Image use policy will probably have the information you need. If it is, click "upload file" in the sidebar and follow the instructions. Then, and only then, replace the file name in the infobox with the name of your uploaded file. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 03:03, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much Sumanuil! I think I can follow that process now! Alan Lamb - USA (talk) 12:34, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

About our edit sparring on Template:Orb[edit]

(Because it's not really edit warring). Hey Sumanuil, after reading your edit summary I finally understood what was causing the problem. Just wanted to let you know that a SVG conversion has been done for every file, which I've been very careful about, and I made sure that all the images work. I also checked on the pages that use the Orb template to see if the images load properly on there as well, which they do, at least on my end. Caching issues are mostly just a matter of waiting it out, so hopefully by the time you read this everything works on your end as well. ReneeWrites (talk) 11:19, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sukhoi S-70 Okhotnik-B[edit]

I am well aware that the file was deleted, however take a look at the deletion page. The file that was deleted is not the same file as copyright was claimed on. RedundancyAdvocate (talk) 18:33, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There's still no point in putting the link back until and unless the file is restored. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 18:46, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I realize that now- I'd never attempted that before and was unaware of what would happen. RedundancyAdvocate (talk) 18:55, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Photograph of Asish Basu in Wikipedia was removed. Can you please re-install it? Thank you. Also the missing reference in #8 should be IAEA Project BGD/8/016[edit]

The IAEA reference is an internal but acccessible published report of 2000 by IAEA with the nuumber as BGD/8/016.
