Account Creation Tool Access

Hi. I had last year requested an access to the account creation tool. Administrator Prodego had left a message that I needed to gain more experience. This year, although I've been trying to leave a new request through my old id on the ACC interface, I seem to have forgotten my password. I clicked on the "forgot my password" link, but unfortunately, the email that the ACC tool server sent me (to enable me to change my password) is invalid. Because when I click on the link, I get the message "ERROR

Invalid request. The HASH supplied in the link did not match the HASH in the database!" Can you kindly help me (1) Retrieve my password (2) Get the ACC tool access enabled? Thanks and best regards. ▒ ♪ ♫ Wifione ♫ ♪ ▒ ―Œ ♣Łeave Ξ мessage♣ 08:49, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Hello Stifle. Re:

Hi Stifle -- You properly closed the AfD for Larry Perino and others as delete and deleted the Perino article but not (yet) the other associated articles. Swinton Circle query

I don't have OTRS access so can't check this myself; please see my query on the AFD. If the person submitting the OTRS request is Alan Harvey, he is not the chairman of the Swinton Circle which is the topic of the article, but a former member who set up a breakaway group of the same name following this incident. While personally I'd consider the SC such a significant group that there are no grounds for deletion regardless of who is requesting it, others may disagree, and whether the person requesting deletion is in fact speaking on behalf of the group obviously has a significant impact on whether the request should be treated credibly. (The situation is confusing, as both groups have the same name and almost identical websites; the group which is the subject of the article is that at www.swintoncircle.org.uk, while Mr Harvey's breakaway group is that at www.netcomuk.co.uk/~springbk/lsc2.htm.) Books are not reliable sources?

Hello Stifle, I'm relatively new to the AfD process, so I'm going to ask some stupid questions. I've read your FAQ and user pages, but I still don't understand why the Keep comments that gave book sources were ignored.

I'm referring to this comment in particular: "101 Drinking Games" by Andrew Studdard, and "The Complete Book of Beer Drinking Games" by Andy Griscom list the game by its name, 'Jayred' and describe it in detail. Wicked247 (talk 23:25, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

Keep comments from new and unregistered users are generally discounted at AFD discussions, and other than such users, you were the only user supporting keeping the article.
As an FYI if you're leaving me or another admin a message about an AFD we closed, please link to the exact AFD in order to ensure that we can figure out what you're talking about. Stifle (talk) 23:28, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

It is not for me to decide whether sources are acceptable or not. I had left a comment at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki_talk:Spam-whitelist/Archives/2010/01#kfantransmittertour.co.cc after you denied the request, which I assume is why the IP contacted me rather than you. The main page for kfantransmittertour.co.cc/ is kfantransmittertour.co.cc/index.html (presumably this page would be the most appropriate one to whitelist).
