Thank you! I am wondering how long it takes for my account to be confirmed? I would like to start uploading files (pictures) for certain pages.

According to Wikipedia:User access levels#Autoconfirmed users it would be four days and ten edits. However, there is a better way. If the pictures are ones that you took yourself then why not upload them at Wikimedia Commons. Make sure you are logged in here then follow the link, https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page. That way any files you upload can be used on any Wikipedia project plus I don't think they have the autoconfirmed waiting period. CambridgeBayWeather (talk) 05:45, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
