If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jmbenjamin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. kelapstick(bainuu) 00:11, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Stacy, Thank you for the note on my talk page. I would suggest that if you want to start an article on this fella, that you should use the articles for creation process, or start the article in a sandbox (there should be a red link at the top of the page called "sandbox", click that and start it there), you can draft it, and you can ask someone to look at it (just dropping a note on my talk page would be fine). Let me know if you have any questions, or place the {{helpme}} template on your page (not mine, when you added it to mine it showed me as looking for help, which was not the case). Hope this helps. --kelapstick(bainuu) 21:53, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I just had a look at the article you started in articles for creation, it's off to a good start. While it still requires expansion, the New York Times reference is excellent. I have no doubt that once you complete the article it will be kept. As a hint, I would suggest you look at Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners, it will help you format the references properly. It's a fantastic story, and I am glad you are writing it. Let me know if I can help you in any way. --kelapstick(bainuu) 09:26, 2 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your article submission J.M. Benjamin[edit]

Hello StaceyMcNeill. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled J.M. Benjamin.
