Speedy deletion of Tonle Sap Biosphere Reserve[edit]

A tag has been placed on Tonle Sap Biosphere Reserve requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.    SIS  09:16, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Don't be discouraged![edit]

The article was a good idea and the nice links you added to the nine provincial articles are great. However, you need to rewrite the article in your own text - I'm happy to help. Copying text from other websites can get wikipedia in trouble. If you have any questions, just leave me a message. Cheers, Paxse (talk) 09:14, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent, I'm really glad you recreated the article. Let me have a go at formatting it a little better and improving the layout. incidentally, either of these tags can be placed at the top of an article to help keep the vultures off your back while you are actually writing. {{inuse}} and {{underconstruction}}. I forgot something...[edit]

... you also mentioned you wanted to send me an image to add to the article. I didn't reply to that, sorry. Just go to my page and click on 'email user' then you can send mail and we can exchange the image. Bear in mind that wikipedia is (understandably) pretty anal about image licensing - it has to be released with all permissions. There are a couple of images in the Tonle Sap article that we could add, though better pictures would be cool. The article is really looking good - I hope you stick around to edit some other sutff and don't just create this one good article and leave :) Cheers, Paxse (talk) 14:48, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
