Close paraphrasing[edit]

Hi. I'm afraid many of your recently created articles, such as diafiltration, phosvitin and immunoadsorption may be a problem under our copyright policies, since the text seems very closely paraphrased from its sources. While facts are not copyrightable, creative elements of presentation – including both structure and language – are. For an example of close paraphrasing, consider the following:

Immunoadsorption is one of the dominant blood purification technologies and mainly applied to remove antibody, immune complexes and some other pathogentic factors from the blood with some kind of adsorbent.

The immunoadsorption article says:

The technology which is used for blood purification mainly applied to remove antibody, immune complexes and some other pathogenic factors from the blood with a kind of adsorbent is referred to Immunoadsorption.

There are other passages that similarly follow quite closely.

As a website that is widely read and reused, Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously to protect the interests of the holders of copyright as well as those of the Wikimedia Foundation and our reusers. Wikipedia's copyright policies require that the content we take from non-free sources, aside from brief and clearly marked quotations, be rewritten from scratch. So that we can be sure it does not constitute a derivative work, these articles should be revised to separate them further from their sources.
