Your edit to a category page[edit]

Hi, SnoCoReporter, welcome to Wikipedia. I've reverted your addition to Category:Media in Snohomish County, Washington, because that's not the way category pages are used. You don't add stuff to them; they expand automatically when an existing article is added to them by adding a category link at the bottom of the article page. The place to add your information is probably the article Snohomish County, Washington, in the media section. Hope this helps. Bishonen | talk 16:35, 3 January 2016 (UTC).[reply]

Snohomish County[edit]

You did that just fine, no worries. For extra shine, you could italicize the names, using two single quotes fore and aft ('' '') — look at the couple of other newspaper names in the paragraph — you can see in edit mode how those have been italicized. Again, welcome to Wikipedia, I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you have any questions, you can ask me on my page, or at the Teahouse, which is a friendly place for new users. HEY! I think I figured out how to respond. The newspapers I mentioned are all very relevant, I will contact the editors and see if they will create a Wiki page for them, Snohomish County covers a great deal of land and different communities. If I can figure it out I'll make one for mine. Some of these papers went from print to strictly online but are older then the actual county so they really should have a Wiki page.
You did indeed figure it out. :-) You can create articles via WP:Articles for creation. I recommend it when you're still feeling your way, it means you get help and advice. Oh, and you can sign your posts on talkpages by typing four tildes (~~~~). That code will transform magically into your signature and a timestamp when you save.
