In need of help.

I've started a discussion here over merging the article. With the episode lists and chapter lists drastically increasing in quality, I find that this page is unnecessary, and instead might be targeted for excessive plot details in an AfD and the like. I need advice...

At the Naruto Wikia, I am dealing with a fanboy/girl/whatever who is presenting a point based completely on original research. I have thrown facts at him, even going as far as to point to WPs, yet he still keeps coming back. This fan is a believer of the old classic "Haku is a girl" and has gone to great, I mean GREAT lengths to force his point on the Wiki. The only interview I found is that famous new interview about 2008 that I thought it was fake but it was short and didnt contain jutsu. I added short sentences in some jutsu about videogames and the IGN info. The other websites dont get deep in jutsu or characters so I could only add reception of Naruto and Sasuke. See you. I think the Naruto#Characters info a lead may not be necessary, since there is an explanation of teams, ninjas and characters. If you thinks its ok I add the main character info to the main article. Never mind it took a lot of digging to find that spot in the guidelines. (even then I'm not sure if that applies to all list articles) But it did suddenly occur to me that the Naruto Universe article is not a list article. Can you prove that it isn't confirmed? What proof do you have that Jiraiya is alive? This isn't the case of Sasuke, Choji, or Gaara. We have Pein saying that Jiraiya is dead. We have, what you continue saying is an unverified article (if you read the topic, it is *confirmed*), confirming Jiraiya's death. Can someone please tell me why Pain isn't a verifiable source? Remember the placing of the chapter, Jiraiya's last thoughts were *before* Pain even spoke about it. The original version cited Dai_Kan-Wa_jiten as a source. (an in text citation) Obviously I can't verify it for multiple reasons. 1: I don't have a copy. 2: It's a Japanese/chinese dictionary. I don't speak either language.

Yeah, it would be fine. If the information doesn't exist, it doesn't exist. An explanation can be given to the GA reviewer. It satisfies the GA comprehensiveness requirement (which is miles from the FA comprehensiveness requirement). Even so, look at Master Chief (Halo) or Cortana, both FAs, which don't have immensely long conception sections. It doesn't have to be loads long, meaning that the current size is fine for GA. I'm writing because I am just as interested in making the best Naruto Uzumaki page as possible as you are. I know that we both want to make it as good and accurate as possible, but lately it seems that you are making changes based solely on your opinion, and not on the information at hand.

Deleting the information added regarding the Rasenshuriken seems spiteful, but I'm trying hard to assume good faith. I added the information because it is directly related to the jutsu (its power, type, and the dangers involved), but you claim that it isn't necessary. The information isn't simply anecdotal, it is key to the jutsu.

There isn't a reason to delete it based on length of the section either, as I have been told by SephirothBCR that a two or three paragraph section would be fine, and there are only two paragraphs as of now. Even with the small amount discussed in that section, this isn't an ancillary character or a supporting character. This is *the* main character, the character that the show is named after. If anyone is going to have a larger section it would be him, if only for the sheer amount of focus on him during the show.

As I have said before in the Discussion page, if you have proof of any of your claims, *please* feel free to show it. I'm not trying to argue, I'm simply trying to be as accurate as possible. I hope you see what I am trying to say and will take it into consideration.

I really do. I respect the viewpoint of one jutsu taking up so much space in regards to its usage, but I think the plan would be to lengthen the other information regarding the Rasengan and Shadow Clones rather than shortening the Rasenshuriken's info.

What about including the steady progression of the number of clones he has been able to make at once? It's now up to the hundreds, whereas it was merely a handful originally. As far as the toads, someone could easily add in the information about Jiraiya's teaching of the seal, and which toads have been shown as of now.

If someone is deliberately limiting the space of the article, we should petition him/her or someone higher up to give us the space we need. That would probably fix a lot of problems.

As far as my disappearing for weeks...I can't argue with you there. I've been trying to maintain my attention here lately, but sometimes outside influences keep me away for a while. I'll try to fix that. DestradoZero 22:55, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

I've tacked on a reception section to Rukia Kuchiki and I'll start working on an "appearances in other media" section, but the rest of the article needs to be cleaned up per the format of our recent Naruto GAs. Could you take care of this? Also, I'm practically clueless as to where we're going to find conception information for her article, as there doesn't appear to be a comparative artbook for Bleach we can use. Thoughts? I do realize that a lot of the rewrite/writing stuff I'm requesting for List of Naruto characters will ultimately fall on you, as I'm utterly horrible at doing it (List of characters in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow took me ages to get up to standard). That said, take it at your own pace. This is sort of our crowning achievement of sorts for the series, and a first for the project as well. Can't say it was illegitimate, I was a newbie at the time of its creation. Another question...
