Sialkot

Are you from sialkot? Whatever that can be supported by evidence can be mentioned. If you are not please reconsider it by doing a little research. If you are then i can consider it prejudice or simply biasness. And btw who is that brigadier?? If sitara-e-hilal makes him so important of a contribution to defence forces from sialkot then why not mention Gen. Shamem Wayne EX CJCSC Armed Forces?? Regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Genehash (talkcontribs) 09:45, 1 December 2013 (UTC)

We only mention that information in articles that is supported by reliable and published (mostly secondary) sources. The information that I removed was utterly promotional and without a source. And now other non notables also stand removed from that article. -- SMS Talk 10:54, 1 December 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 3

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Inter-Services Intelligence activities in the United States, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hangu District (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Bablu Prithiveeraj

Hi.I would like to know when you can help me remove the sentences saying 'someone close to the subject has edited this page'.I have not made any biased editing which is easy for you to verify.I want to reiterate that it is only because there are 2 actors with the same name the miscategorisation of career graphs should not happen.

looking forward to hear from you.

BeenaBeenaprithiveeraj (talk) 17:15, 3 December 2013 (UTC)

If your edits can be verified from a reliable published source that conflict of interest tag will be removed but since they can't so an editor thought it might be good to have this tag at the top. Hope it helps. -- SMS Talk 14:35, 4 December 2013 (UTC)

About Removing Link

Hi

I want to understand why the links I have posted, has been removed ?

I also read copy right law for posting on external links on wikipidea at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:External_links/Noticeboard .

All links suggest proper identity. Need your help to understand how can I post external links for those pages.

Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jwalant82 (talkcontribs) 14:21, December 4, 2013‎ (UTC)

Hello Jwalant82. The links you added are not considered useful per External Links guideline. Besides the way you added it more looked like spamming. Kindly read the linked pages in this reply to have more understanding about external links that are good to be added here. -- SMS Talk 14:35, 4 December 2013 (UTC)

Thank you

i removed that content from history of Pakistan on purpose. but as i m not much aware of how to edit wikipedia articles i didn't knew one has to write edit summary for removing unnecessary and unrelated portion of an article. Thanks for help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Suhayb.Manzer (talkcontribs) 18:00, 4 December 2013 (UTC)

Wikipedia page "Sahiwal" edit

Hello! I edited the Wikipedia page "Sahiwal" (that you have reverted to the previous one) and deleted the word 'Sahiwal Division' in the first line; I should have given some reason for this edit but I completely forgot to, and I'm sorry for that. Actually, I deleted it because it says that Sahiwal 'is' the administrative center of Sahiwal Division, as well as of Sahiwal District. My point is that "Divisions" no longer exist in the current local government system of Pakistan (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Districts_of_Pakistan ).

Do let me know your opinion. AsimSodai (talk) 21:12, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
You are right. So probably we can word it like this "It is currently the administrative centre of Sahiwal District and formerly Sahiwal Division."? -- SMS Talk 21:18, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
Yes that is good, but I think that it would grammatically be more accurate to say that "It currently is the administrative center of Sahiwal district, and previously was that of the former Sahiwal division."

December 2013

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • Rahat Fateh Ali Khan (born 1974) ()) is a Pakistani singer, primarily of Qawwali, a devotional music of the Muslim Sufis.
 • |}

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 17:38, 12 December 2013 (UTC)

Dear smsarmad, I appreciate your revision, I wish to tell you that I spent my whole life in Kohat, the peoples are very notable and prominent. It is requested that please don't press the undo beast regards and thanks. S. M. Banoori — Preceding unsigned comment added by 182.185.97.110 (talk) 14:48, 14 December 2013 (UTC)

Hello and Welcome S M Banoori. I am sorry we have a guideline about lists of people in an article that doesn't allow an entry to be included in such a list if it doesn't have an article here on Wikipedia and the relation between the entry and the subject article must be sourced. I hope you understand this. Thanks and Happy editing. -- SMS Talk 15:37, 14 December 2013 (UTC)

hi

2 video references were added too for criticism section (which were removed too). Didnt add anything without references.

Hope it settles ? , Regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Schozab (talkcontribs) 19:00, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

@Schozab Probably you didn't read my edit summary. I said YouTube is not a reliable source (← please read the linked page) and sometimes it also hosts copyrighted content so it is also violation of Wikipedia's copyrights policy to link to copyrighted work hosted at a site without original author's permission. Hope it helps you to understand how things work here. -- SMS Talk 19:09, 26 December 2013 (UTC)
@Smsarmad Now adding other newspaper references, and not the youtube ones, hope it will be widely accepted as reliable information, as sometimes criticism section is hard to accept. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Schozab (talkcontribs) 19:26, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

How Dare You To Remove My Addition

Information icon Hello, I'm Raja Umair Satti.May I ask you why did you remove my edition?Brother I belong to this tribe and know better than you,the some statements in the page are totally wrong especially sub-caste of Rajputs. We are descended from Anushirwan(Khosrau I who ruled the almost whole world.Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Raja Umair Satti (talkcontribs) 19:01, 27 December 2013 (UTC)

@User:Raja Umair Satti Hello and Welcome to Wikipedia. Wikipedia needs reliable sources to support any information added here, we can't and don't rely on someone belonging to that tribe as a source of information. Besides Neutral point of view is one of the core content policies of Wikipedia that asks for information added here should be neutrally written, something that you wrote lacked. Hope it helps you understand the reason for my revert. Happy editing -- SMS Talk 19:13, 27 December 2013 (UTC)

khyber

Hi

well the wikipedia page of khyber pakthunkwa gave error because of your edit. you can edit it back again but look at the page good if it hasn't errors

regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Feysalafghan (talkcontribs) 22:16, 27 December 2013 (UTC)

Hello Feysalafghan. What error? Please be specific. -- SMS Talk 22:23, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
Hi Smsarmad there was a error at that table where it is gives information about languages , capital etc. the table didn't have his form and it had bigger lettertype much bigger thats why. but now it oke i think

why are you reverting my edit on Afghanistan Nikhilm and i had a discussion and now it is over. don't do 'revert war' i don't like that brother. you can keep your page edits :)

regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Feysalafghan (talkcontribs) 20:29, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
I still don't get how and where my edit introduced an error? And about the edit at Afghanistan article, this issue has been discussed a number of times at the article talk (see archives) resulting in the version you are trying to change. So please first read those arguments. And the explanation you gave to Nikhilmn is not a plausible explanation for that change. -- SMS Talk 20:50, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

Blocking Request of a user

Hello Smsarmad, first, thanks for speedy deletion of the "Template:Rohit Shetty Filmography". I was really don't know about its duplication. Now I want to say that a User Samsujata trying to editing an article List of highest- grossing Bollywood films and adding wrong information about the films (specially their net gross). Moreover, the sources of films does not support the net grosses given in the article. I revert, advice and warn him many times but he is unstoppable. This user has been blocked once time due to these editing as he doing now. Please block him for at least three days so we can correct the whole article. Thanks for your message on my talk page. - Yasir Mushtaq Talk 08:07, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

Act like a adult

i edited South asian cuisine because if you look at south asian restaurant you won't get Afghan food that means that Afghan cuisine is far from the south asian cuisine we don't eat biryani, dhaal etc. and spicey food go look at Afghan cuisine it isn't even close to indian or pakistani and pakistanis have copied Persian and Afghan kebabs in their Cuisine. They never ate meat in India before mughals from south asia and Afghan/persian empires made these people muslim We just are politcally South asia!!!! for the last time

Karzai joined SAARC in 2007 that doesn't change our culture

Do you understand?

you South asians are so happy to have Afghanistan as member of South asia well we are since 2007 but that doesn't makes us like you guys. you need hundreds of years to change someones culture my friend

i first called you brother and was nice to you but now you are acting like a little kid so 1 tip act like a adult — Preceding unsigned comment added by Feysalafghan (talkcontribs) 21:20, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
