Columbus Blue Jackets

Thank you for your work on Columbus Blue Jackets. We've been working hard lately to improve it. A good copyeditor is exactly what this article needed!! Thanks again! Macduffman (talk) 13:07, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Would you be able to help out expand this article Zack Smith hockey player as it is marked with a proposed deletion of this article? I added a reference. The article was created by a new user to wikipedia. SriMesh | talk 03:21, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Thank you so much for taking the time with Zack Smith I just don't know as much about sports and what should be on wikipedia, and this one was started by a new user User talk:Tahi0009. Kind Regards SriMesh | talk 04:00, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

I didn't know my idea was popular, but it needs work, badly. You should be able to expand each one to at least 1 1/2 to 2 paragraphs. Also, you should add the decommissioned highways. Thanks.Mitch32(UP) 16:51, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Matt Koalska

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Matt Koalska, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Rocky Mountain Rage players, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Rocky Mountain Rage players has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Rocky Mountain Rage players, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Sabres Draft Picks List

It appears you have had a rather extensive involvement in this page in the past. Your user page says 2007, so I'm not sure how recent. But I would like to thank you for the adjustments you made to the page after I posted the updated version...all 4,265,093 DAB's lol. And for getting rid of the random Bruins draft picks that found their way in the list. Enough of the praise...I got some questions. I noticed on your talk page that you mentioned that the list was a featured list...But from what I can see on the actual page it isn't. I wanted to make sure that I didn't miss something. Also, if there's anything that you see that might need adjusting let me know, I've still got a copy (with the recent changes) in my user page playground.Infero Veritas (talk) 21:29, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Yea, I've seen other people's opinions ruin articles before. You probably handled it better than I would have >:) I don't usually do a ton of edits on here, but recently we've been rather slow at work. And I have trouble sitting around twiddling my thumbs (they get twiddle burn). I don't need any help with the Buffalo article, but I do however need some assistance finding other sources for my Erie Panthers article. It amazes me that a team can be in a city for 8 years, and nobody's published anything online about them (that I can find).Infero Veritas (talk) 13:44, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

OTT/CBJ

Do you have a reference saying that this 2nd round draft pick is for 2009? I don't see it anywhere. ccwaters (talk) 16:01, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

no prob, I'm sure it will be cleared up be the end of the day. ccwaters (talk) 16:13, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for the edit on Cody Goulobef, it was good. Its good to know you support it and not delete it.

Thank you

I was looking through a few hockey-related articles the other day and stumbled across your user page. I decided I should create my own page and modeled it mostly after your template, since I don't know much about the ins and outs of Wiki editing. Thanks for the help and keep up the great work on the hockey project. It's nice to find someone else who's so interested in things like the NHL draft. Old routings of NY 39 and NY 60

Hey, long time no talk. I know you're especially interested in Chautauqua County-area roads, so you may be interested in the additions I made to the articles on NY 39 and NY 60 tonight. After doing some digging through my maps, I learned that both had old routings in the Dunkirk-Fredonia area, which are now mentioned in both articles. What would be good for both articles would be some pictures of the old alignments and termini. Would you be interested in taking some? If so, I have a few ideas of pictures that I think would work well for the articles. – TMF 09:16, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

Here's a few that I can think of right now:
  • The junction of NY 60 and Porter Road near Laona, with the picture taken facing north - this is where the old alignment broke from the current routing.
  • The junction of Water/Temple Streets and US 20 in Fredonia, with the picture taken from one of the street corners - the former junction of US 20 and NY 60
  • The northern terminus of NY 60 in Dunkirk, with the picture preferably taken from one of the street corners on the north side of NY 5 - this would be great for both NY 39 and NY 60 since this was once the western terminus of NY 39.
  • Junction of US 20 and Roberts Road southeast of Dunkirk, again from a street corner - former western terminus of the US 20 / NY 39 overlap.
  • Junction of Central Ave and NY 5 in Dunkirk - former NT of NY 60.
I think any of these would work well. – TMF 19:38, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Hey. Just wondering how this request is coming, since it's been a month since I originally posted. If you haven't had time to get around to it, that's fine; I just wanted to see if the request is still on your radar, so to speak. TIA. – TMF 10:44, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Skudrafan1! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 5 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. The Rambling Man (talk) 17:49, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 30

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited United States House of Representatives elections in West Virginia, 2014, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Putnam County (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:32, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Jeremy Adduono

The article Jeremy Adduono has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article contains no references.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
